The charcoal works great.
I love Odo-ban products. The only problem I had with these is that 2 out of the six were not sealed and the charcoal spilled out but they do work to kill off any odors and can also be revitalized and reused by leaving in the sun for a few hours.

Love but pieces everywhere
I really thought these did a good job getting rid of odor I've been trying to get out of this hall closet. Then I panicked with the blk pieces everywhere, then realized it was from these pouches. With a toddler in the house, not a fan of small pieces falling out of pouches.

Extra small bags
Although the picture does show that these are extra small bags, it doesn't give you a sense of how tiny these bags of charcoal really are. They are 2.75 inches/2 inches. It states in the description that they "convenient for use in ....bedrooms, bathrooms,closets, or laundry rooms." Convenient, yes, but not effective as that small size is not going to make a difference in a bedroom or bathroom of any size. I was very disappointed in the product. I will keep to use in smelly sneakers, but these are pretty useless for what I intended.
