Great value
Bought this for use in a regular size hot tub. I appreciate that the product came quickly, has a very straightforward design and does its job well. Strongly recommend.

Laughably tiny pool tool
The principle of this tool is sound; I use something similar for cleaning out my fish tank. However, since this item was advertised as being for pool and spa use, and the photos make it appear to be longer, I believed what I was getting would be a lot bigger, so for anyone wondering before purchasing here are the dimensions:The suction nozzle is just over 1.5 inches wide. The straight part of the tubing (handle, wand, I don't know what to call it really) is 21 inches long, about the length of my arm. As other reviewers have noted, it all seem pretty cheaply made.Purchased this for an Intex pool, if I want to use this without getting in the water I will only be able suction the area directly around the edges, and then only in a tiny strip. The diameter of the tubing is about 1/2 inch; okay, so long as you don't have any big chunks of debris. If your pool only has a teeny amount of dirt and debris to suck up, then maybe this is fine for you. Mine needs more help to get rid of silt at the bottom, and this simply won't cut it for anything bigger than a kids' paddling pool. Or a fish tank. All that said, I'll be heading to Lowe's to find a decent length of pvc, something to use as a sweeping nozzle, some tubing and some flex tape to hold it all together. Probably for about the same amount of money.

UPDAYE: Works really well
UPDATE: seller was great and they sent a new nozzle that they were working on that really improved vacuum power, speed and ease. I also figured out that if you fill tube, made a good fingers seal on discharge end - keep suction nozzle high in the hot tub - you can quickly put discharge end to ground outside and keep the prime and siphon so I’m a happy camper!I bought it for cleaning my fairly small, inflatable, hot tub – to get the little debris that doesn’t get cleaned up with the filter. I think it would be better with a little ball you could pump to create suction, instead of having to suck the water by mouth and it could use to be a narrower tube so you’re not wasting so much water as you clean the bottom of the tub. The other ridiculous design flaw is that it’s hard to keep the bottom nozzle on the tubing connector. It doesn’t fit well so any little wrong turn and it just falls off and you’re pouring water out but not using the suction anymore. I am just about to glue it onto mine so that doesn’t happen anymore, but should’ve been avoided in design. Also, they should send some end nozzles so you can suck more focused or wide path – pretty much the way canister vacuums give different nozzles for what you’re doing.

A simple and effective vacuum
We have 4 kids who love to use the hot tub. Somehow they always manage to bring dirt and other debris in it (even though we have a rule to not get in and out while they use it!). Not wanting to spend too much money, I decided to give this product a try. When it arrived I went outside to try it out and I didn't even have to use the instructions! It is so simple to use and does a great job getting all the dirt and sand out of the bottom with very little effort. I will be suggesting it to all my friends!

hot tub grit remover
Works better than small hand held suction thingy and low enough price so was worth the risk. Every couple of weeks I use it to clean up the bottom of the hot tub. Add back a gallon or so of water and it's done.

Kept coming apart...
Didn't work well. Not really what I needed either.

Pieces don't fit and don't stay together
It arrives disassembled. Unfortunately the pieces don't fit together, and are either too tight (solid straight pieces) or too lose (hose). After some work with a blowdryer and a mallet, I was able to get them "together" but they just fall apart when in use. The "suction" piece was completely useless because it doesn't create an airtight seal with the hose. Not worth the money and I don't recommend.
