I had never heard of this company or seen its products before, but as soon as I saw this tablecloth, runner, place mats, and dish towels, I knew I had to have them. I was extremely low (one runner, one tablecloth) on table linens because of an incident a few years ago that I won't go into, but, aside from one runner and one tablecloth, I had nothing.These products are just fantastic. The fabric is top quality, the design is beautiful and is very well done, and the colors are gorgeous. I like subtle, maybe subdued colors for my table because I don't want the china to be outshone.These beautiful blue and white table linens would go with almost any color of china. Mine is mostly white with a few pieces of fruit on it, and this table linen, whether it's the place mats, the runner, or the tablecloth, look wonderful with my china. The fruit on the table linens complements the fruit on my china.The fabric is sturdy and looks as if it will hold up well. These beautiful place mats are something you can use for years and then pass down to your children or other heirs. All their table linens are made of 100% combed cotton, which is stronger than regular cotton and will hold up better. Everything is machine washable, and the combed cotton should wash and dry very well.Excellent, top quality products, gorgeous blue and white place mats with a pattern of peacocks, flowers, and fruits. You will get years and years of use from these beautiful place mats and then pass them down to your kids or other heirs. I'd recommend all these products to anyone, no matter which you choose; they are all very well made, and the fabric is the same top quality combed cotton.

These came in a lovely gift box with tissue paper, making a nice presentation. They are heavyweight cotton, well sewn with double stitching around the border. The design is nice and colorful. Before using them, I washed them according to instructions--warm wash, low dryer--and ironed them. Unfortunately, as with many cotton items, the fabric shrinks at a slightly different rate than the thread. The result is that the placemats slightly lose their shape. Not horrifically puckered, but the corners are no longer perfect 90-degree angles.That said, these are attractive and heavy-duty and do look good after washing. Took off a star because of the slight shrinkage. In this day-and-age, the cotton should have been pre-shrunk before manufacturing.

I have a very casual family. The colors are so robust, and the design is intricate and detailed. The edges are well sewn and are mitered tightly. The cotton is soft and pliable. They can be used for special occasions or just treat yourself to luxury. You deserve the best. They are so well made that you will be using these for many, many years to come. I highly recommend these premium products.

Aloha, everyone. Ok, I'll admit it. I went a little cookoo over these, I was overwhelmed by the beauty of this set. It's like a fine art pieces that I can use to dress my table for the holidays. I'm impressed by the luxury look, very high end, for me anyway, and the good price point. The placemats, along with the tablecloth, look stunning. I did order the napkins to finish the look. I would have ordered the flipping Peacock if it was available. Lol. 😆 I wanted something really nice for the holidays, not just the plain bare table of yesterday's. This was it, what a smash! I can't wait until my family sees this, they'll know I tried to make this holiday season special for them. These placemats, like the rest in this series, is fine India grown combed cotton. Placemats have a very nice weight and are finished very well. I was impressed from the boxing to the final pressing so that these arrive looking they're best. The stitching shows how well sewn these are, they've have high standards for Maison d'Hermine products. So, I'm trying not to put these away, because life's just to short.
