Found these after a review on a different site for solar lights and was not disappointed. Bit pricey but well worth it/last for ages - take heed/do not fall for the cheaper/similar looking lights with the smaller/lower power batteries.Plenty of options to mount too that was a bonus as had different areas/required different attachment.

When I looked for these type of Lights I spent a lot of time reading other peoples reviews. and I found this particular one had a good report . So I ordered two of them to be cautious. When they arrived I was rather taken aback at the size of them, we have got some like these which are OK But these are the bees knees.Wow they do not need bright sunlight to operate successfully and they are striking when lit and last for ages.A good quality product well recommended.

The media could not be loaded.  Don’t normally write reviews but these lights are excellent. The flare effect creates a very atmospheric feel in the garden. The casings are sturdy and come with many options to fix in the ground or wall. Time will tell how long the rechargeable batteries last but so far so good. Expensive but well made and packaged.

The media could not be loaded.  On line there are some best dancing flame torch reviews sites, which test the better brands. The sites mostly differed in their opinions and or ratings as to which is the best one overall. So i just looked at amazon and ebay customer reviews on torches and the top rated on some compare type sites on line was Tom Care but these are expensive and rating not really that good on Amaz and Ebay There are other cheaper brands but i was guided to these by the best feedback scores from Amazon and Ebay customers. They do look pretty good... so good in fact i am going to use the wall mounts to attach them to the balcony of my mobile home. They did not come with the wall mountings stated in the listing but they rectified the problem and sent me the wall mounts. I have not yet wall mounted them as this requires some drilling but have zip tied one to a balcony post and it looks really nice.

I have had many solar powered lights and they have all been disappointing. These are brilliant! They are very bright, sturdy, easy to use and last a long time. I needed to mount them on a post so the fixings were perfect. They have variable lengths which is nice to have the choice and change them. I put the light on the 1st setting and they last from about 6pm to 1030pm. The flickering is very atmospheric and recommend highly. The price is actually reasonable at around £12 each as they work.

A neighbour had a set of these torches and they looked very effective at night so I purchased some as well. They are well made and come with various plastic tubes so you can set them at different heights or off a wall. They seem to last for several hours as long as the top solar panel is kept clean and unobstructed by foiliage/bushes etc.

These lights just don't turn on! They have been in full sun for 2 weeks and still don't come on and I have requested help from Proteck and have not even had a reply. Absolutely gutted as I bought them for a birthday present so have missed the return date!

We followed instructions, they now shine bright ( we have set flicker mode) even in this limited sunshine.

Livraison rapide et lampes d'un très bon rendu

Zugegeben der Preis ist ordentlich, aber es lohnt sich wirklich.Ich hatte ursprünglich einen 4er Pack für unsere Terasse bestellt. Zwei davon habe ich an Säulen befestigt (mit Dübel und Schrauben) und zwei mit dem Erdspieß in das Beet neben der Terasse gesteckt.Beide Varianten sind super und hielten dem Wetter stand. Auch die verschraubten Lampen kann man z.B. im Winter in eine Gartenhütte legen, da man die Lampe einfach aus dem verschraubten Teil heraus ziehen kann. Bei uns waren die Lampen jedoch den kompletten Winter draußen und funktionieren nach wie vor einwandfrei.Leider erwischte uns letztes Jahr ein übles Unwetter mit großen Hagel, der die Solarpanel der beiden Lampen im Beet zerstörte. Die beiden an den Säulen blieben zum Glück verschont. Seither haben die beiden Lampen einen Riss im Solarpanel, aber siehe da: Sie funktionieren immer noch! Lediglich die Tag/Nacht Erkennung scheint defekt zu sein, ich kann sie jedoch nach wie vor manuell ein und ausschalten und sie scheinen sich auch weiterhin aufzuladen. Laut Versicherung wären Solarlampen nicht mitversichert, ich überlege also seitdem ob ich die beiden kaputten Lampen ersetzen selbst soll. Aktuell reicht mir der manuelle Modus jedoch noch aus.Update:Wir haben unseren kompletten Treppenaufgang zum Haus umgestaltet und in diesem Zuge noch einmal einen 6er Pack dieser Lampen bestellt. Diese zieren nun den Weg vom Gartentor bis zur Haustür. Das spricht für sich, die Lampen hinterließen bei mir also so einen guten Eindruck, dass ich sie trotz des hohen Preises nocheinmal kaufte. Diesmal sogar 6 statt 4.Insgesamt sind nun also 10 dieser Lampen bei uns im Einsatz, die zwei teilweise defekten Lampen habe ich immer noch nicht ersetzt, da mir der Preis dann doch zu hoch ist um zwei Lampen auszutauschen, die zumindest teilweise noch funktionieren.
