Hycote Double Acrylic Aerosol Car Spray Paint, Rover - Gunmetal, 150 ml

I've used this brand plenty of times for primer, paint and top-coat lacquer. For the money it is really good. I think rattle cans often get a bad reputation for being a cheap and nasty bodge-job product, but in fact they can produce really good results. The key to good results, which is often massively overlooked, is preparation. If you prep your surface well enough, this product can look fantastic. As evidence, I had prepared one side of my bike engine properly and left the other side half-done. I gave it a single coat of black without primer. The poorly prepared areas started to flake off as soon as anything touched them. Whereas the prepared areas were fine, I had to use wet and dry sand paper to remove the paint. And that was with no primer and no lacquer.

Bought it to touch up a small scrape on my 2010 Honda Civic perfect match for the silver, a little thin and at a risk of running so use with care and build up letting dry in between, though slow to dry even in this hot weather. Also matches in well with no edge so makes such a job very simple. However very good value for a small job.

Rover - White Diamond - Not as white as you'd think.Be warned the sample picture given on the Amazon page for "Rover - White Diamond" is highly misleading as has likely been taken under a bright light. The paint is actually almost a slight shade of yellow, as the very white end of the spectrum. If you compare it next to a white primer it's very noticeable.I had planned to repaint some of my head unit surround with this but I'm going to just use the primer + gloss now instead, disappointed with the colour of this one.

Claims to be metallic finish but not much evidence of this after spraying. Goes on OK but tends to "spatter" when can nearly empty.

Fantastic product. Bought to spray small section on car. So impressed have sprayed the whole side. Looks as good as new.

Tried to use to touch up a tiny scratch on my Ford. It's made the problem so much worse. Wish I'd never sprayed it. Do not buy this to touch up scratches!

Ok product

Purchased to touch up my rover. Not rover tihiti blue as it says on the tin the colour that came out is way to bright. Not even close to the colour of my rover. Would not recommend
