Double fun ! building and remote control robot
The media could not be loaded. This is a premium quality product I would recommend to any kids (both girls and boys)! The design really considered the engineering balance in appearance and functioning (For example, the gear wheel are coupled so nicely together!). Moreover, it is a remote control piece that have multiple moving features, forward, reverse, turn right, left, and around. It is worth every penny!

Fun, buildable RC robot with a few flaws
Lego-style RC toy with a cool design and fun remote control action. The robot charges easily with an included USB-C cable - the remote control needs two AAA batteries (not included). The remote control feels flimsy and cheap - the plastic is lightweight and the buttons don't have any satisfying mechanical response - but it works surprisingly well once you get batteries inside it. You can only control the treads/wheels, not the arms or head, but you have plenty of options. Each tread can run independently, in forward or reverse, and at varying speeds to allow many different kinds of motion. The treads will have difficulty getting traction at very slow or very fast speeds, but it doesn't take long to get the hang of it.The quality is generally comparable to a Lego brand kit, with a few noticeable flaws. The bricks themselves are excellent quality, and fit together firmly. They are solid with just the right amount of flexibility. And the design looks great, with a fun Transformers/Voltron vibe, lots of colors, and a slick weapon. Building instructions are lucid and clear, and we were able to get this together in about an hour. The treads were a pain, but there's really no way around it.But they're not perfect. A lot of the exterior accessories (armor plates, etc.) are only attached by a single knob, and come off easily during play or handling. And the stickers are exactly the same size as the bricks they're supposed to go on. (Lego gives you a mm or two border so you have room for placement error). After trying a couple of stickers we decided not to put them on at all - it actually made the robot look worse. But in terms of Lego alternatives you could do a lot worse. This is a fun, unique design and overall a good quality product. We expect to have a lot of fun with it.

Great product!
Got this robot set for my 6 year old and 9 year old. They absolutely love it. The set kept them busy for two evenings, and I really appreciate the way they worked together, trying to solve problems, and finally assembled every piece together. Using phone/iPad as a remote control is really cool for the kids. Highly recommend it!

Fun and educational toy for kids!
I bought this RC Robot Toys Building set for my 10-year-old son, and he loves it. It's a fun and educational toy that teaches him about technology and programming. The different modes keep him engaged, and he enjoys building and programming the robot. It's a great way to encourage creativity and problem-solving skills.

Fun, very fast robot - good instructions and excellent customer service
Let me just start out by saying the first robot I got had an issue. I later found out it was the base unit or core or whatever you want to call it. Just wouldn't connect with the remote, or the app. Which was weird, because it was working for a bit.Anyway, I contacted their customer service, and received a new, working bot in a couple of days. So kudos to them for prioritizing customer satisfaction.I'm now going to list a few faults I found with this product. Because I want to get them out of the way before I talk about how great it is in other aspects. For one, some of the steps are hard to see/understand in the instructions. Some of the colours of the parts are very close to each other, and some of the 3D illustrations of the pieces fitting together are a bit confusing. And I also noticed a few missing/incorrect pieces in the set. Wasn't anything too important, just meant a couple of cosmetic pieces didn't fit. And my other complaint is that some of the parts don't snap together too well, or come apart pretty easily (especially while you're assembling it, if if you drive it recklessly like most kids well). So I think it requires someone with a bit of patience to fully appreciate. But there is enough symmetry and common sense baked into the design to make it capable of completing, in my opinion. That aside, I had a lot of fun putting this robot together. The tracks especially, and the whole movement assembly is very robust and interesting to assemble. I do appreciate the sort of gundam/transformers look it has, and the posable pieces like the head, arms, and "wings" to give it some personality. And the provided stickers and swappable "weapons" really help to sell the idea that this is a miniature mecha. And the remote works really well, to move it around in "skid steer" fashion. I was honestly really surprised how fast this robot is. On carpet, where there is too much friction, it might just go fast enough to flip itself over! But on tile or wood or concrete it rolls pretty well. It's especially fun on low-friction surfaces like tile, where it you can make it slide around and perform some pretty impressive maneuvers. And the app is actually a bonus, not a hindrance! So many of these types of things have only an app, and that app is often quite terrible. But I really like the app for this robot. You can control it in several ways, from a digital version of the remote, to gyroscope controls, to drawing a path on your phone screen for it to follow, and even basic voice commands. Although if you're using the app, I'd recommend giving the robot a lot of space. Because it can get going really fast, and there's a bit of input lag on the app (especially with voice control - but it does work). One thing to note, the remote or the app need to be in mode 3, or they won't connect to the robot. Just throwing that out there, if anybody is struggling with it.Something I really like about the app is the "programming" mode. Using a Scratch-like visual block programming environment, you can connect actions like "move forward" or "turn left" and control flow components like "wait one second" or "repeat x number of times". Nothing too complicated, but it's definitely welcome, and would likely interest tech-savvy kids. They definitely didn't have to include it in the app, but I'm glad they did.But the bottom line, is that for the price, you're getting something really special. I think I would recommend this for children over the age of eight, because there are some small parts and tricky steps in the assembly process. And the finished robot is a bit fragile if you are aggressively driving it around (as in, some of the pieces can fall off, but they are usually easy to get back on). It's by no means perfect, and there are some instruction/quality issues as I mentioned above. But the manufacturers are customer-focused, and with a bit of patience and ingenuity, you can build a really fun robot.

477 pieces!!!
EDUCIRO Robot Building Blocks Toys for Boys and Girls, STEM Easter Gifts Toys Remote Control Robot Toy (477 Pieces)Before you think I'm gobsmacked over the number of pieces, let me say I am not. If you are new to these sorts of toys, however, you might be a little overwhelmed. I can say from experience -- having assembled even larger kits than this one -- that while the number of pieces may seem daunting, the experience of assembling with a young one is a joyful one. While we haven't finished assembling this kit yet, I am happy to report:The parts are in packagesThe packages are clearly labeledDon't open a package until you get to that part of the assembly as outlined in the instructionsThe instructions are pretty clear. Actually, the instructions are excellent but it's sometimes difficult to see the correct colour part or orientation such that sometimes a bit of disassembly/re-assembly may be required. If the theme of the robot is attractive to you and you have a youngster(s) of suitable age (8+), I think you'll find this project an enjoyable one to take on. We make it a happy collaboration -- teamwork -- which is one of the valuable lessons to learn from the project. We take it one page at a time and break the project into short sessions spread over days and weeks. (better to leave wanting more than stay wishing you'd left sooner!)While my 10 year old granddaughter is often faster to identify pieces or orientations than I am, she is patient and helps me along. :-) As a result, I won't say 'adult supervision required'. Rather, I'll say 'Some patience required'... and we know who needs to be patient, and with whom!If you're inclined to try, I will encourage you to go for it. Recommended!

UMMM PARTY, Lego & Remote Controlled Battle Robots! (Secretly Educational TOO!!!)
+ very cool gift+ great way to get your lego-loving kids to up their game and get into robotics and programming+ sneak some critical thinking and problem solving into a genuinely cool toy+ kit includes all the lego-like building blocks, a control board, motor and sensors+ great instructions, the entire booklet is in fairly easy to follow pictures BUT if you haven't had a lego-style buildathon before you might find it a little difficult+pieces snap together firmly and feel quality+ the robot is customizable+ hours of entertainment for a reasonable price for kids of ALL ages+ price seems comparable to other robot kits+/- some kids may need some adult assistance (not really a negative in my opinion, a good bonding moment in my opinion)This is my first STEM kit and I thought it came well packaged. I liked that the box was stickered closed and all the pieces were individually wrapped. (Little chance of lost pieces). The only thing that surprised me was that the instructions do not make any reference to the labels on the parts bags - you really do have to hunt.

Great set
I LOVE Educiro products. I've got a bunch of their building sets decorating my house, including both their ship-in-a-bottle models. The quality of this robot, like all their other sets, is top notch. The instructions look exactly like what you'd find in a compatible Lego set, and most of the parts' designs are Lego standards. And if you do have a problem, you can contact them for replacement parts. This robot is a fun toy both to build and to drive. You can treat it like a standard r/c toy, using the included remote (requires 2 AAA batteries, not included) or download the app from Google Play store. It gives you more options, such as voice and gyro controls, or actually programming routes for the robot to follow.I can't really comment on the app other than to say it works. It's new, or at least a new version, and there are no reviews as of yet. There also isn't a list of permissions, which I don't like, but with the controls built into modern versions of Android that's not as big a problem as it used to be.Over all, it's a great toy in many ways, great for Lego fans, young coders, and robot aficionados alike.

A Fun and Engaging Robot Build
The Educiro robot building block kit is fun and engaging. It comes in an attractive and giftable box. My eight-year-old son really loved it. He likes the fact that it takes a bit of time to plant and build it from the ground up. It comes with detailed instructions. Younger kids will likely need a little bit of help. The parts are good quality and fit each other very precisely.Once completed it's a great-looking, relatively large robot, especially at this price. The robot is highly maneuverable in all directions. It goes pretty fast too. It can be controlled either with the mini controller or the app. This kit is great for kids who like to build things. So it gives kids the opportunity to execute a blueprint. Overall, my son had lots of fun playing with this one. Full marks from me!
