Very well made, heavy duty oil drain hose and fittings for small engines. Installed one on my 2024 Troy built TB30 so I could do fast oil changes without a mess. I'll be doing oil changes a lot since Briggs and Stration decided to do away with the oil filter that used to be on this mower and engine. The drain hose is long enough to easily drain into a pail on the ground near the rear mower wheel and can be bent up and stored behind the engine when not in use. Definitely will buy again if I need an oil drain hose in the future.

Very sturdy. It fit the NPT 3/8” port and sealed tightly with some pipe thread sealer. Just make sure to not over tighten the fitting. It can crack the engine block and make it leak. Easy to install.

This works great. Little slower to drain oil but worth the Cyr’s 10minutes of drain time over the hours of clean oil from frame.

After the second John Deere drain assembly cracked on my D170 I decided to go a different route. The stock tube didn’t extend past the frame, making it impossible to drain the oil without getting oil on the frame and ground. The stock part also required lifting the engine off of the frame to install or remove it. This tube can be installed easily without loosening the engine mounts. I added a couple of reusable zip ties to hold the tube out of the way. Be sure to check that the cap is tight before adding the oil.

This fit my kohler engine well. My kohler engine plug is 3/8 npt threaded an npt thread is tapered and gets progressively tighter so doesn't have a gasket. If you have a gasket it probably isn't an npt fitting. My plug had a white substance on it which appears to be a Teflon sealant such as rectorseal 23710 the liquid kind. So I put the sealant on the engine side the plug wasn't that tight so I didn't over tighten it the hose to the engine. The open end is flared with a flared cap so needs no sealant and should be very tight since its a flared metal to metal connection. Ive had no leaks its quite strong and made oil changing much easier.

Just received and installed it on my 2024 Troy built TB30 to replace the factory plug. Feels solid, great length. Use Teflon. Should not leak if you install correctly using a wrench, (don't twist).

Fixed my mower oil leek. A great solution to this common problem.

My mower was leaking oil and I thought it had to be the main seal, but after pressure washing, I found it was the plastic oil drain fitting. I could have bought an exact replacement for the original fitting, but this was about the same money and the original fitting was troublesome. Now I can drain the oil away from the chassis and I have a positive shut-off. However, I found I had to heat and bend a wrench 90 degrees to be able to properly tighten it to the motor. (I would have had to do the same for the original fitting too. that spot is hard to reach).
