I like this purifier so much I've bought 3 now. The price is right, and they do exactly what they're supposed to. I live in a 100-year-old house and naturally it comes with a variety of "interesting" odors. For the most part it's not a big deal, but there are problem areas. I also have a cat and while he's remarkably clean, the litter box always smells.I like this air purifier because it's small, portable, and great for focusing on one room or area (which is why I purchased 3). Right now I have one tucked in my son's room near his diaper pail, one tucked in our bathroom and near the cat box, and one in my office. For that last one, I'm able to pick it up and move it if I need it in another area, say in the living room while hanging out with friends and family.While it'd be nice to purchase a larger HEPA air purifier, for the same price as 1 of those I was able to buy 3 of these and honestly, these work great. Have had the first one for almost a year now and it still runs like an absolute champ.

For now, I will give this 5 stars because the setup was so easy. This isn't taking up a lot of room on the floor next to my bed. I will be able to place it on a small bedside table and keep it out of sight easy enough. It's not a bad-looking machine but looks out of place in my room.Based on some other reviews, I expected the sound of it to be annoying, but it's more like a pleasant white noise - even on the High setting. That blue light is pretty but might be bothersome at nighttime. I have a fan with such a light but there is a way to dim that one.I react to dust and dander - anything in the air on a closed space. I know that despite the humidity where I now live, there has to be a lost of dust (maybe just in my particular building) because the ceiling fan has to be cleaned so often. I'm really hoping that having this machine will help with my breathing and alleviate some of my nighttime coughing. With winter coming, I will have the windows shut a lot of the time so if the dust is from inside the building, this machine should help.I will come back and do an update after I have had time to use this more at nighttime.The main thing I'm worried about right now is how to place something over that blue power light for the evenings. I am showing 1 photo of this in the darkest spot of the apartment so you can see what I mean. If it's this bright during the daytime in shadow, it's going to be bright at night. The other photo is just to show how small and unobtrusive the machine is.So far, I do like most things about this.

So far so good! I bought this as a personal air purifier for my dorm room, but have been using it in my bedroom for the time being. It seems to help and work well, I have less allergies at night and there is much less dust floating around in the air.The unit looks pretty neat, nice and simple, but with enough flair to keep it interesting. The LED lights are a slight bright for night-time, but putting something small over the button cuts the light in half, and is much better when dark. Does not really bug me, but i feel i should mention it.Build quality is good, plastic, but not overly cheap, its sturdier than some more expensive air purifiers I have used and seen. The fan seems like it should last for a while, its a very "digital" sounding fan, potentially meaning magnetic, meaning longer life. However, there is a caveat with that, it could potentially be quieter, and "smoother" sounding, but I do not find it loud at all. It sounds like any other fan when on high, and you only notice the slight "digital" sound when it first turns on, and only some when on low. Again, not a deal breaker, at all, just something to mention.Overall it seems to really help. I only took a star off for one main reason, i have not had this unit for long, so i cnat really attest to how well it does, or how long it will last. However, i will update accordingly!
