When you fold these, does the crease turn white?

HEADS UP: Any silicone used for food should NOT have the white effect that the other respondent to the question answered.  I have not purchased these particular silicone molds on this page, but if you have silicone kitchen wares in your cupboards, please do this "pinch test" (basically wringing/twisting the item), and if you see white, they should not be used to cook food.  That also goes for pet items, and it's how I first learned of this,  Given that pet products receive less scrutiny in the US from the FDA, I have had a very tough time trying to find a collapsible doggie water bowl for long walks/hikes with my pooch.  While silicone muffin cups and cake molds sure sound great for baking (they are!), there may be more than meets the eye for some of them.  Unfortunately with manufacturers abroad tbat are able to produce items landed in the US for a third to half, often more, of the final cost, due diligence is required on us as consumers  No one asked and you may mark my answer as less than helpful, but I suggest only buy silicone cookware if the item says "Ships and Sold by Amazon" and says "Yes" after "returnable" .  This should ensure the item has been inspected and approved by Amazon (and the liability that goes with that).  So, should you receive an item with this white effect, you'll be able to return it within 30 days, no questions asked.  Also, another suggestion whenever possible, always order silicone for the kitchen in very bright or in very dark colors without a pattern containing white/cream so the white is easily spotted. Hope this helps a bit, especially for anyone wondering why all the questions about a white effect.  HAPPY BAKING!

Under description features you list safe up to 230F, however, under features & details you state 230C. What is the true temp they can withstand?
