I bought this life vest because it looked like it was less cumbersome than the other kinds that were available. It fits well, feels comfortable on, and it isn’t in the way when I paddle. I ordered this life vest for the sole purpose of keeping myself safe while paddle boarding. And that is what I have. While this life vest is for paddle boarding, I certainly could use it for other water purposes, but I just wanted a nice vest for when we go out on the water for paddle boarding only. I didn’t want to have to look around for it when it’s time to go. Having it designated for my paddle board makes it easier for me to keep it together and not lose it. With that said, it is a great vest. I’m able to move around and the vest feels comfortable against my shirt. It’s not so tight that it’s uncomfortable, or bulging out. It feels streamlined, and it fits very well. I feel as though they made this vest per my exact measurements, which they basically did. And that’s because I followed the sizing guidelines to the letter. I’m really glad that I did because I was able to order a size down than from what I usually would have ordered. Very happy with the results of the sizing guidelines. There are multiple pockets on the vest, and the front one came with a plastic whistle. I was going to purchase one, but now I don’t need to. So glad that it is plastic because I wouldn’t want to burn my lips on a metal one. This manufacturer thinks ahead for what users of a life vest will need. I’m also impressed with the lightweight feeling of my vest. I would rate this vest as very high functionally, great looking, feels very comfortable, and functions just as it should and then some. It is also very easy to adjust so that what already feels like my custom life vest, is now even more comfortable. I feel that my new vest is very safe for myself.

This is a really nice lifejacket for SUPs. I've worn it several times for about 2 hours at a time on my SUP and it is super comfortable. No chafing at all and no restriction of movement. Worn it both standing while paddling and sitting down. It does make it a bit harder to get on your SUP if you fall off, but that is expected, and I prefer to be safe out on the water. It also is very breathable. Haven't felt uncomfortable or hot while wearing it. I like that it is Coast Guard approved, comes with a pocket and whistle, and has reflective tape. My only complaint are the colors available. I really wish they had bright yellow, neon green, and orange for visibility since we are out there on the water with speed boats and jet skis. To fit the lifejacket I followed another reviewer's recommendations, which was to loosen the shoulder straps a lot and get the jacket pretty low. You will find a good spot where your arms can freely move. Tighten the bottom side straps snug, then the upper side straps, then finally the shoulders. I also bought the MoveVent Curve jackets in a smaller size for my kids. Those are built in the body exactly the same, but they lack a pocket, a whistle, and the reflective tape. So you will have to spend some extra money on some whistles.

It does not constrict arm motion, which makes it super easy to use! It looks great - the colors are fun and don’t look like all the other life jackets around. It works well when you fall into the deep water too ;). You won’t be disappointed with this purchase.

I bought this PFD for kayaking. I'm a woman who is 5'8" and my bust size is within the mid XS/S range as noted for this PFD. My waist is 30". In women's sizing (U.S.), I wear a 10/12 (L) in pants and a M in shirts. This PFD is clearly in men's sizing. Chest Sizing and Fit I ordered an XS/S and it fits great in my chest area and is quite comfortable, as there seems to be some space for a woman's chest. You can also adjust the length using the shoulder straps, but if you have a short torso and need to adjust the straps, I'm not sure if the arm holes will interfere with movement. Waist sizing I did have to cinch the waist straps completely in for it to fit my waist. I think that's important to know because if your waist is less than 30 inches and you can't tighten this life vest sufficiently, I'm not sure how well it will work once you're in the water. Summary Overall, it is a well-made PFD that is clearly well-designed for kayaking. It is a bit bulky around the front part, but the arm holes are large and there is mesh on the lower back so the PFD won't interfere with the kayak seat. It states it's U.S. Coast Guard approved and holds over 90 lbs. I haven't tested it out yet, but I look forward to wearing it while kayaking and hopefully I won't have to test it out in the water.

I LOVE this! Very comfortable, lightweight, and cool-that is a MUST in SC! The mesh back not only gives me a little more relief from the heat, it also makes sitting in the kayak more comfortable. I love the vents in the front, as well! The adjustable straps are easy and the zipper is very smooth. I will easily give this 5 stars (I bought another for visitors after I tried it for myself). Using this in coastal waters, my only wish is that they would have brighter colors available...bright yellow, orange, or green with visible reflective strips would be great!

Bought this for when I take the kayak out. Went out into the bay and tested it, not exactly voluntarily but nonetheless the vest provided good flotation, fit well, dried quick, rugged zipper. Comes with a whistle (not the best) in the built in zippered pocket. Very reasonably priced. I can recommend this vest to anyone looking for minimal flotation. USCG approved.

Importante que te tomes el tiempo para medir la circunferencia de tu pecho, antes de ordenar. Eso es clave para tener la talla correcta. Habiendo dicho lo anterior, mi experiencia fue: ¡Ajuste perfecto! ¡Cero interferencia al remar en kayak! ¡Tan ligero y cómodo que, literalmente, se te olvida que lo traes puesto! Y no, no me pagan por opinar. ¡Creo que fue una excelente compra!

Es chaleco tienes buenos acabados, soy 44cm de pecho, altura 1.80cm y peso 95kg y la talla M/L me quedo perfecto con opcion hacerlo mas grande y chico. El chaleco te permite una excelente movimidad de cintura y brazos, para mi especial para el kayak. Mi unica observacion es que el bolsillo es mas chico de lo que esperaba, para unas llaves de auto tal vez.
