Huge space inside and great quality
great case - huge internal space (the biggest I could find after a lot of research). I use it for teaching and travelling between 15+ schools a week and I can carry a week's worth of music books, a flute, clarinet and music stand as well as plenty of stationary. Seems to be very well made and very tough. Would definitely recommend this. Also, very quick service - the item arrived within 24 hour of dispatch.

Good case for a teacher
A good case - bought for teaching to carry books in rather than carrying heavy bags and can just fit 2 full class sets of A4 exercise books in it, as well as my laptop. Pocket on outside is just big enough for laptop charger cable. Pencil case attached to underside of lid isn't very useful. Poor design means when you open up the pilot case the pencil case part is upside down.. Also not a very big opening to get pens etc in, but can be used. However side pocket on end of case is big enough to put several pens (including highlighters) in. So far seems quite sturdy. Handle extends well and case rolls smoothly. Only flaw is there were no instructions on how to set the combination locks. Locks came sealed with a plastic tag so, as I don't need the security, I am just using them without setting them - but would be good to know how.

Poor handle, not robust - lasted 6 months - they just don't make cheap "Tonka" flight bags.
Update 06Jan23Telescopic handle failed again, unable to move it. Bag is fine, handle is junk. If you are a train driver or airline pilot and use your bag regularly and walk through airports, stations, and on the rough pavements to get back and forward to work, choose something else. This is the last one of these I buy. Just a pity they couldn't fit a robust, durable handle like those on reasonably priced Swiss Gear or Wenger canvas wheeled bags, Tassia wheeled pilot case, or expensive Rimowa's; then it would still be working and would get a 4 or 5.Review after purchase May22Over the last 4 years I've bought 3 or 4 of these. Why? Because there just isn't a sturdy, reasonably priced, wheeled solid pilot flight case that doesn't look like you are going camping or out for military maneuvers (Pelican). Even Samsonite have given up the ghost and called time on the traditional look and no longer sell a solid leather wheel pilot case like this.So it's a compromise and you know that it is going to break at some stage. This case is fine for light users, but I'm not one of those, seeing it knocked about on paths, planes, and trains. Uneven and mono-block UK paths are a killer, expect the wheels to give out eventually, yet surprisingly, after just 9 months, my most recent case it was the handle release clip that completely broke inside the depression and the handle got stuck down. I could have gone to the effort of trying to fix it by drilling out the rivets and potentially fixing it or replacing it with a dissimilar handle, but not this time. However, had the handle not broken it still looked in good condition, including the wheels, that may have allowed another year of life.Alassio (whoever they are) really could do themselves a favour and sell a more robust pilot case. They'll never make a Tonka strength version, Tonka being that almost industrial toy tipper truck that was sold in the 1970s and advertised it with an elephant's foot on it - indestructible, but if they spend another £10-15 on a better handle, like a Swissgear/Wenger, Samsonite or Delsey handle, and another £10 on roller-skate wheels, then they'd have themselves a really decent case that people would pay another £25 for as it lasted and got 5 stars. Unfortunately this case is becoming like income tax, you know the bill will come round for it every year.

Pilot flight case.
A good large pilot case on wheels. The thumb lug on one of the combination locks fell off on day 1 of use :(I now open that side with a strong fingernail to slide the snap lock release.I thought this case had a side pocket on both ends….it doesn’t !?! This would be a useful addition…..the manufacturers are missing a trick here.Otherwise the case works fine and serves its purpose.

Very poor quality not impressed at all
I'm very disappointed with this product. I bought this in May of this year to replace a very similar product that I got on offer in Aldi about 10 years ago.the Aldi product stood the test of time admirably but after only six months this is already falling to pieces and at nearly twice the price. Where you open the top the leather or faux leather not sure which is already very cracked. There is an inside zipped pocket that they manged to sew in upside down so it is really difficult to access anything inside. The lining is already coming away inside and it already looks quite battered. I should have sent it back I know but needed this to carry my work around so I thought I would work around it. I am now looking around for something much more durable. if you want something that's expensive and doesn't last long, then this is the product for you. I've been buying from Amazon since 2001 and this is the first product that I have ever felt inclined to review.
