I don't know how much can be said about this, It works, it works well. The first time I had tried one of these it was plastic. If you didn't press with the right pressure it didn't work and then the handle broke This one is made of sharp hard metal and I have used it dozens of times without issue. It always cuts cleanly and is also so easy to clean. If you get enough pineapples you can also use the cored out fruit to have fancy drinks
