Best litter box ever. Egress might be a problem for older cats

The Amazon Basics litter box 14.5"W x 19.5"L x 14.5"H. This is a great height for my mini mountain lion who is a splasher and doesn't fit in a box with a lid. The lid is removable or you can just flip it over on the side. The box is high enough to maintain 3" of litter, which gives him 11" of splash room. It's been 2 weeks and no icky accidents so far. Wet litter doesn't stick to the bottom either. I can't ask for more in a litter box. 14" is too high for my kitten to jump into, so I bought a 2nd box, use the lid, put a 6" cinder block next to it and filled it up with about 6" of litter, kitten loves it, problem solved :) BTW, scooping out 2 boxes for 2 cats is so much less messy than scooping out 1 box for 2 cats.

Bought this to keep the pooches from using the cat box as a snack bar. Has worked well, and the box is easy to clean. It's actually nicer that our other regular box, as it's virtually impossible to spill litter when you clean it! My only warning is to be aware of this little hook piece sticking out. I didn't even notice it, and scratched my leg pretty bad walking past the box one day. I'm guessing it's there to hang the scooper from? You could turn the box so it's against the wall out of the way, but I can't cos my cat can't jump on the platform from that side. I'm going to put a piece of tape on it. But great purchase otherwise!

This has been a great litter box. The only annoyance is the top is on a swivel that doesn't fully hold it when you flip it out. It’s easy to clean and retains litter well,

Got a great deal on this litter box back during Prime Days. Both the box and the lid are quite sturdy and my two kitties took to it right away. The lid does what it was designed to do and that is to capture some of the litter from kitty paws. The lid is hinged but unfortunately flipping the lid up just takes that litter and dumps it on the floor. But the good news here is that it's not much litter at all. The lid comes off quite easily so you can always lift it up flat and then pour the litter back into the box. I highly recommend this litter box! My kitties like it better than the open litter box by far!!

The lid doesn’t stay on. I bought hoping it would keep the dogs out of the litter box. But the hinged lid it’s exactly hinged. The cats adapted to it quickly but so did the dogs…
