I started using this style comb and no other when I was having issues with medication-related and postpartum hair loss. These are decent quality for the price and do the job for my straight, thick hair, and my 3yo daughter's finer, curly hair, even when tangled if used with detangler spray.

Just what I expected

I really like these combs. With wider teeth on one side and narrower ones on the other, the shape is perfect. They are much easier to use than regular straight combs with both wide and narrow teeth, and they are small enough to fit into a pocket. My only complaint is that I've broken a couple of them. One had fallen on the floor and I stepped on it, but the other one broke while I was using it. I'm 72 years old, and I only wish my hair was thick enough for this to be reasonable. However, while I was combing my hair, a string of about ten teeth just broke off of it. So, I'll give big pluses on the shape and usefulness of these combs, but they are too brittle.
