This was not at all enjoyable to do. Your hand cramps up. It’s hard to hold things in place and you really have to work at it… but I guess it works. But I hated every second it took to do this, and it takes a while.

I love this. I have many versions of pass phrase storage like this but this is the first with a built in easy to use stencil. Game changer.

Perfect product. Very low price and high quality. The packaging is so classy. I liked the product. Lots of instruction for how to use and it never looks cheap. This price is incredible for this product.

After scratching and scratching, stencil sliding around it looked like chicken scratch and some characters were hard to read. I'm throwing it away and using one with punched tiles. This one is more trouble than it's worth and the end result is not as need and tidy as the photos show. Not for me anyway. A waste of $30.

Great value, but if 2-3 hours of your time sitting there scraping letters into a metal plate is worth more than the $20-30 it takes to buy a cheap engraver off Amazon, I'd recommend buying a separate stencil, plate, and engraver, as it'll be a much more pleasant experience with higher quality lettering

I literally bought this a couple months ago and did not open it till now and and realized there is no engraving pen. How does that happen? Unfortunately it’s too late for a refund.

Very easy to use, but a little bit time consuming. Good quality metal that definitely can survive different life situations.

Using the included stencil renders an engraving that's good enough for semi-permanent backup. I say semi-permanent because engraved text with a tungsten pen will never be as robust and endure as long as stamped metal templates/products. But that being said, these plates and the engraved text you scratch onto them will probably outlast your hardware wallet itself (and probably the crypto market).A bonus with this kit is that because you need one plate/stencil to engrave the other one, you get two plates. This worked out for me because I use two hardware wallets. The more expensive kits with stamped letters will give you only what you need to back up ONE seed phrase/wallet.The etching process is pretty slow, so give yourself about half an hour to complete each one.

Good price and came on time, bought after ordering a Ledger Nano X. I found it was quicker and more legible freehanding the inscriptions than using the stencil. Obviously I can't give a 5 star review as I don't know if it will survive a fire (I do have it in a safe as well).
