Rich, full flavoured and well balanced blend. Can't believe it's Decaf too.
This blend of different Arabica beans makes delicious coffee, and it's been decaffeinated without chemicals, so I can drink it all day without getting wired. Made in an Aeropress it's almost as quick as a cup of instant, but it's light years better. Lovely, rich, intense coffee, no bitterness, very low acidity. I do mine espresso strength, topped off with hot water and a splosh of frothed milk. Done in a minute. The decaffeinated processing hasn't taken anything away from the flavour of the coffee, really good tasting blend.I've made this in a French Press, and it's excellent in that, so it's a pretty versatile coffee.Grind is quite fine, like an espresso grind, but I haven't got an espresso machine, so can't comment on any crema.I like the idea of two metal, sealed tins, one kept absolutely fresh while the other one is in use. Opened, the coffee still retains its freshness without any noticeable deterioration for about a fortnight, but I'm using this a bit faster as it's such nice coffee.Definitely one that I'll be ordering regularly. My OH doesn't drink caffeinated coffee, but he really likes this one, so it's nice to be able to share.

Excellent quality coffee
This coffee was bought in an effort to cut down on caffeine. It smells lovely when opening the tin and makes a lovely brew in my filter machine. I honestly don't think you would know the difference without being told it were decaff. Much much better than any instant alternative and it is really good value for money, making 3 or four mugs a day for the last few weeks and still mot half way through the first tub.Definitely recommended

Nice coffee shame about the filter
I bought this coffee to use with my new Morphy Richards filter coffee machine and try as I might I just couldn't seem to get a decent cup of coffee no matter hat strength I tried to brew it at. I was on the point of giving up with this coffee when I tried it in my French Press and all of a sudden the coffee was great. I just don't know why this should be, but there it is. I have since tried Sainsbury's ground coffee in my filter machine and, great tasting coffee in my cup! Take what you will out of my little adventure. I have yet to try it in my stove top coffee maker, so we shall see. Perhaps it's my taste buds but I can only speak as I find. If you use a French Press then go ahead and buy, it makes very good coffee (I'm drinking it now while I write this review). If you like filter coffee perhaps a little caution would be wise.

Really Delicious
I can’t drink caffeine because I have an overactive thyroid and caffeine really affects me in a negative way. I recently stopped caffeine for this reason so I decided to try this one. I though it might have a strange flavour because some of the decaf that I’ve tried have a bit of a funny flavour but this one is REALLY DELICIOUS. I can’t tell the difference between this and normal coffee, so I’m happy I can enjoy a cup of coffee without worrying about the side effects of caffeine.

Really good, tasty coffee!
I don't normally write reviews for products I buy but I thought I should say something about this coffee as I was so impressed with it. I bought it as a present for my husband as he is always trying to make the perfect cup of coffee. This quest has been going on for years! However, now that we have tried this coffee, I think our search is over. It certainly suits us very well. Rich and full-flavoured and not at all bitter. Just really good, tasty coffee. Thank you.

A great decaffeinated coffee is very hard to find but during ...
A great decaffeinated coffee is very hard to find but during a recent trip to Spain I was impressed by the taste and quality of the strong decaffeinated coffee con leche I was served there. Upon returning I spent quite some time looking online for a supplier of a good quality Spanish coffee and I found it here at Brera Coffee. Cafe Saula is creamy and full bodied in flavour at the same time. I make it strong in a cafetiere then use hot milk to top it up as the Spanish cafes do. This coffee is a pleasant find and a great reminder of a wonderful holiday.

Inoffensive and smooth but not as tasty as hoped
I have been looking for some really nice decaf coffee after wondering if I am overdoing full fat coffee. Tried this on the recommendation of the reviews. I have now tried this, Illy Deca (green tin), some Pact decaf, Lavazza and Cafe Direct Michu Picchu decaf.Of course, coffee taste preference is quite subjective and personal, but my conclusions were that my favourites were Illy, Pact and Cafe Direct Michu Picchu. This and Lavazza were not bad at all, but just not quite as tasty as the others. So my main comment on this one is that it is smooth, easy to drink, but at the same time a bit bland and not really tasting of very much. So I won’t be getting it again. And fwiw...reducing the amount of caffeine I am having does seem to make me feel marginally better, although highly unscientific :)

Very nice coffee but the price?
I decided to give this coffee a go as my usual brand wasn't available.I use an Aeropress and this makes a nice decaf Saula coffee.I am not a coffee connoisseur. I know what a nice cup is but I wouldn't have the taste buds to distinguish between all the different flavours. For me compared to my regular brand there is not much of a difference. The reason for 4 stars is that this Saula coffee is twice the price of my regular brand. Also an Aeropress tends to use more grams of coffee per cup compared to other makers. But hey, give this coffee a try - it might be the one for you!
