Amazing mic, solid build, price is just right, easy to install, superb sound quality.

Its surprisingly hard to buy a switched goose neck mic that works and isn't noisy when turning on and off. This is be works exactly as I need it to and is obvious when on or off thanks to the two lights.

Surprisingly good for the price. Used for announcements in our small community theatre. Sound quality is adequate for the purpose, but importantly the mute / unmute button doesn’t emit the loud popping sound you get with cheap mics like this usually. Quite pleased with it overall, seems fairly well built too.

Straight out of the box assembled and working within 4 minutes. Good sound and easily operated. As it is being used in a church situation also discreet in profile.....Thoroughly recommended and a great price.

This Boya podium microphone has very good sound quality, which you obviously want from a microphone. The base is very heavy and will keep it in place easily. The gooseneck has some manipulation, mainly at the bottom and the top which is perfectly adequate for standing, a little less so for sitting but that's okay.It has a mute button which is great but on the bottom of the base, which I'd prefer was on the top, but it does make it simple to use with a single button on the top for whatever mode you have it on. If it's on mute mode the microphone is on and you press and hold the button to mute. If it's on talk mode you need to hold the button down to talk.This requires +48V phantom power with an XLR connector. Mine did not come with this and there was a space in the box, I don't know if it was meant to or not. This didn't matter for me as I already have a mixer for this and it worked fine, I just wanted to point this out.It's a very decent mic, the build quality is great as is the sound quality. At just under £70 I think the price is right. It's not suited for streamers or gamers (although I guess you could if you had the right set up but it wouldn't be my first choice for that as there's far easier options) but more for conference calls, small disco's/assemblies etc and for that, it's fantastic, especially for those on a budget.
