Catches everything
Definitely does the job better than I thought it would, and it's a breeze to clean. It has a snug/secure fit to the drain, and it comes with extra parts in case you wear out the seal, although I don't see that happening for years. This is a really good product for the price and it looks nice. Very sturdy too. No worries with this one. It even works well if you're giving your pets a bath/shower. It catches everything. No more Drano.

Perfect!
I am so glad I got this. The threading for receiving the screw on the original stopper was stripped so other replacements didn’t work. This works perfectly! It catches the hair and is easy to clean. And it seals the drain perfectly for filing the tub.

Drains Fast and Good Quality Sink Stopper
I have an older bathroom sink with a broken drain stopper, which was removed at some point. I just placed this new sink stopper into drain with no alterations and it works well, especially compared to other similar types which don’t allow all the water to drain. Other types I’ve bought leave a good amount of water, soap bubbles, and other junk like after brushing teeth, gunk sitting in sink bowl which was irritating & gross. This stopper works so much better and allows the water to drain almost completely, the smallest amount sits in sink, and saves on water usage as I don’t need to run a gallon of water to rinse all the bubbles down the drain. I also like the look of it, I bought the brushed nickel/stainless steel color & it def improved the look of this older sink. The push down stopper only requires a light push and it seal's off the water from draining so I can pre-soak a piece of clothing or for cleaning. I do like that it allows the water to drain quickly, unlike the others I’ve used which drain so slowww!! The slotted cover comes off easily which could use some improvement to stay in place but it does a good job trapping larger debris from going into the drain, such as dropping an earring or in the kids bathroom because who knows what went missing until it clogs up the drain pipes, this stopper & cover would prevent it. It’s very nice, works well, looks great, and well worth the money. I’d recommend especially compared to the other options which I’ve bought, used, disappointed and just tossed out. New stopper- 4 1/2 stars ⭐️ because everything can use improvement and since I didn’t find any instructions but it did come with different soft plastic fittings so maybe it’s me. I’m very pleased and will purchase another for second bathroom with same issue.

Easy to install and looks good!
Works well with my tub. Seal is good, drain speed is good, it’s durable and the price was reasonable.

So easy a drop in a drain, works & looks great too!
This was easy to install, just dropped it into the open drain, easy to use just push the center to work as a plug and push it again to open the drain. And it pulls out to remove any hair or other small debris it catches to keep the drain open and water flowing. No messy, ill fitting old separate plugs, voilá! It also has a simple, sleek, well designed modern appearance. Highly recommend if it’s a good fit for others’ sinks!

Purchased Three and One is Defective
I purchased 2 bathroom sink stoppers and 1 tub stopper. One sink stopper is defective, the top half keeps separating from the bottom half. The other sink stopper and tub stopper work fine and remain in place.

Works Perfectly, good price!
Awesome product. It’s so much better than my old one. There is zero leakage when in the closed position and drains perfectly when in the open position. I am extremely happy with my purchase and I’m ordering another one for my tub.

Broke after 7 months. ETA: I fixed it!!
ETA next day: I decided to look this over again in case I was missing something (see original review below), or didn’t understand how to take this apart to clean it. The part that pops up seemed to not be attached to the “post” that it should be attached to. This resulted in it not being able to stay up in the open (popped up) position. I pulled it up to where it should be, in the popped up position, and I continued pulling it completely out. There’s a small rubber “gasket” (??) attached to it. So, if you can visualize this: the middle circle you push to make it go up and down is now completely pulled out. I could now look down into the “basket” (part with holes) where gunk (not hair) collects. I could see it was pretty clean…from my hard efforts yesterday. It would be a lot easier to clean inside there by taking this piece off. But because there are no cleaning instructions, I don’t know that this is what they intend for you to do to clean it. I looked at the piece I pulled out and could see that it’s supposed to be screwed on to the post (maybe my cleaning efforts unscrewed it?). I pushed the piece back inside….there was a little bit of the rubber gasket that didn’t go down in, so I kind of finagled it to get it to go down. Then holding the piece that you press to pop it, I screwed it back onto the post and…viola! It works as it should now. So I am changing my 3 stars to a 5. It still is not the easiest to clean, but next time I will unscrew it and pull that center piece out. Or possibly just soaking the whole thing in water for awhile every week or so will clean it. One thing to point out is that this does not catch hair in what I call the “basket”, the part with holes. It prevents hair from even going down the drain like most hair catcher baskets do. Instead, you wipe out the hair, that this prevents from going down the drain, that’s in the sink. This, honestly, is far better than the ones that allow the hair to go through and get caught in a catcher down in the drain….those are NASTY to clean out! This one, while it prevents hair or jewelry from going down the sink drain at all…it will collect some gunk (and you all know what I mean…the stuff you spit out…bleh!). So a soaking in water ever week or so, even once a month, should keep this clean. I recommend it and I’m sorry I initially gave it a negative review. I hope it continues to work because there’s not many options for preventing hair from going down the drain (other than the many that have a catcher down inside the drain pipe). Original review: This fits the bathroom drain well. It does what it’s supposed to do. We never used it for holding water in the sink, with the center pushed down in the “closed” position (not sure why you would ever do that). We used it with the center popped up (“open”) to drain water but catch hair from going down the drain and clogging it up (my reason for getting this thing). After a few months it did leave a rusty mark on the porcelain sink, along the outer edge of the hair catcher…had to use a stainless steel scrubby to get most of it off (doesn’t completely come off). What I don’t like is that this is nearly impossible to clean. There’s a thin rubber ring that can come off. Ours is permanently stained on the side of the rubber that’s against the metal . Looks like black mold that just won’t come off. The rest is impossible to really clean. And let me tell you, this thing gets NASTY inside! I mean think about how many times you spit into the sink. Today I pulled it out to clean it again by running hot water through the holes to try to dislodge the stuff in there. I soaked it for awhile and that helped a lot of it to come out. For the rest I used a q-tip to poke through the holes to kind of scrub in there. Got it as clean as I could, which is not all that great….and guess what? It won’t pop up anymore. Now it’s permanently in the “closed” position to stop up the water. So frustrated I wasted all that time cleaning it. I was not rough with it, so I can’t imagine why it just stopped popping up. It’s useless now. I might have to go back to the sinkshroom.

Bought a house and tub area needed big cleanup and drain push-in plug broken, removed old one and just literally dropped this new one in, works like a charm and even makes tub look better. Can’t be any easier than that. Great little invention.

Using it to replace the Moen push up/down drain stopper for the bathtub. As advertised, multifunctional gadget. A bit pricy but metal lasts longer.
