Funniest, best contemporary show!
When I bought How I Met Your Mother, I had already seen all available episodes, three times! It's probably the funniest show I have ever seen. And will keep seeing, over and over again. It just never stops being funny! And who doesn't know Barney Stinson? "Suit up!" and "It's gonna be legen... wait for it.. dary!' have already become iconic punchlines. Great show
It was great to have the first two seasons, having watched episodes on TV out of order. The show makes much more sense when watched in order. The boxset includes all the episodes from season 1 and season 2. The season 1 discs also have some episodes with audio commentary from cast and crew. My only complaint would be that the boxset does not include an episode guide.

Funny new Sitcom
I have only recently got into How I Met Your Mother by a friend and with 2 whole seasons (44 episodes) for around £[], I decided to buy it. I am glad I did now as it is a great Sitcom that is about a group of friends in New York City when around their 20s in funny situations. These situations are a story of a guy called Ted telling his kids how he met their mother. I laughed so much I have already got seasons 3 and 4 and have just bought seasons 5 and 6. Just a little tip, the seasons are cheaper if bought separately with this set, than the seasons 1 to 5 box set.

Legendary
Funny, cool and smart, that is what this show is all about. The story is about the quest for eternal love, it is about genuine friendship and all the questions that affect adults of all ages. The writing is smashing just smashing and it can't get any better. There is not other way to qualify this it is just legendary!

Disappointing.
I am so sorry to have wasted my money on such a poor quality show. To tell the truth, I confused the title with another program that I had seen a few times over the years. That program was laugh out loud. That's what I thought I was buying. I was wrong. But even though it was the wrong show, it would have been fine if it was at least amusing. It's not. Very boring. I think that I don't have either the time nor the will to bother watching series 2. Life's too short. Also, I am shocked to discover that this program is in it's 8th year. Really? I can't get my head around that. It's just not funny. I'm spoiled by higher quality comedy.

Great DVD box set!
I always wanted to get into 2How I met Your Mother" so i was very happy when i saw the complete series one and two on Amazon for a great price. I now love this comedy and am ready to buy the next series! Great value and great delivery what more could i ask for!

Il s'agit d'une série originale avec un concept particulier: la narration se fait en 2030 avec des flashbacks sur l'époque présente. Inspirée par l'amitié réelle des deux concepteurs Carter Bays et Craig Thomas, le début de la série porte sur la recherche du grand amour par le personnage principal (qui est aussi le narrateur). Cette quête, conjuguée avec des personnages haut en couleur, fait que cette série marche sur les par de succès de "Friends", par exemple, et est déjà sur le point de devenir culte. On trouve assez facilement des extraits vidéo sur des sites de partage genre Youtube ou Dailymotion... pour ceux qui voudraient se faire une idée avant l'achat ;)

DVD solo in lingua inglese (sottotitoli inclusi). Prodotto ben imballato e ricevuto in anticipo rispetto i tempi previsti. L'articolo risponde alle mie aspettativa, anche se mi aspettavo i sottotitoli in piu' lingue

Dvd come nuovi arrivati nei tempi previsti. Non li ho ancora guardati tutti ma finora (sono al quarto) nessun problema audio o video. Consigliato!
