I love these lanterns. Made some ceiling hooks to hang them from and black chains. Also added some candle platforms to make cleaning out the buildup easier. I particularly like the way they cast shadows along the walls. The material could be made a little thicker to feel really gothic, but for the price it's better than I was expecting.

I NOW WONDER ABOUT THAT, BECAUSE IT WOULD BE HUNG FROM THE ADD ONS, THE DECORATIONS, THAT ARE ONLY SPOT WELDED ON: THAT'S A LOT TO BET NOT BURNING YOUR HOUSE DOWN ON ! ITS FINE, HOWEVER, FOR TABLE/FLOOR USE, AND NOTHING IS STOPPING YOU FROM ADDING SOME FINE HARDWARE CHAINS TO THE BASE FOR SAFER HANGING. THAT ASIDE, THE PACKING WAS OUTSTANDING, THE SIZE IS IMPRESSIVE, THE GLASS PANES ARE ALL STRAIGHT, not curved, SO YOU YOURSELF CAN REPLACE BROKEN ONES EASILY, AS THEY'RE HELD IN BY TINY TABS. AND IT IS IMPRESSIVELY GOOD LOOKING. IT'S A GOOD LAMP FOR HOMESTEADERS.
