A ball, not a chew toy
We've used these for several years after the vet said that our dog's need to carry a tennis ball around was severely wearing down her teeth. Tennis balls have fiberglass in the cloth cover for durability, he said these do not and therefore are less abrasive. For our purposes, throwing, catching, and our dog carrying one in her mouth, they are great. I see most of the complaints are about lack of durability under chewing. I don't think these are intended to be chew toys, they are balls. We have cloth ropes and other items around the house that are designed for chewing that our dog uses. For what these are intended to do, our experience has been great and heartily endorse. They last almost as long as a regular tennis ball but less abrasive.

Dog plays with these and not any other type of ball
My dog loves these. Hopefully the photo of the chewed up ball isn't a deterrent.. It is actually a sign my dog actually plays with it. I have a goldendoodle and her retriever side takes some nurturing to come out. She won't retrieve tennis balls. These are bright and squeaky, which makes them the only balls she actually plays with and will chase. Once we are done playing she likes to tear the outer fuzz off the ball which requires a little pickup but is fine. She has never torn into the ball or chewed off dangerous fragments. My little 40 lb dog is classified as a "power chewer" by dog toy standards.

My greyhound loves these!
These tennis balls are a great dog toy for any dog that loves squeaky toys. The balls are a standard tennis ball size, so good for medium dogs and larger. The tennis balls are firm, but press down with a moderate amount of pressure, and produce a large squeaking noise that my dog loves. They also bounce well and are easy to throw. This multicolored set of balls also seems to be in colors that dogs can see well and are excited by, and my dog prefers these multicolored kong squeaky balls to regular, yellow/green tennis balls. Overall, would recommend for any dog medium sized and larger for active play.

Happy Dog
My dog's favorite twice-daily activity is playing "ball". We have gone through many brands and these Kong are by far the most durable, while not being too hard on our dog's mouth. The colorful balls are fun for us; I'm not sure our dog cares either way about the color. He typically gets the squeaker loose during the first play session (that is his goal) and then the ball lasts about three or four play sessions before is it broken. Many brands we have tried last only one play session.

The best squeaky balls on the market
These are really the best squeaky dog balls on the market. But they also cost the most. I remember when these balls used to cost $1 each. Those were the days. But seriously, these balls last forever in any climate and the squeak is pretty durable. I’ve wasted so much money on other cheaper knock offs of these balls on the market and they last for one or two plays whereas these last for months. Lots of fun for my dog and me.

Abby LOVES these balls!
The media could not be loaded. Abby LOVES these balls and gets soooo excited when they arrive! They are her absolute favorite toy. We have tried to give her other balls and she will not play with them. She only gets crazy for Kong Happy Birthday tennis balls.

Not Durable
I have two husky puppies, one 14 months and one 10 months old. Literally in less than 48 hours they had the cover off of one of the balls and the ball split in half. That's an inexcusably short shelf life in my view. I would not recommend this product.

Dogs love them.
Although they don’t last more than a week with medium chewers, my dogs love these. They bounce well and squeak loud, to the apparently delight of the beasts. They also shrewd the covering quickly - little blue and yellow and red and orange puffs of felt-like material all over. I buy them again and again as my dogs prefer them to tennis balls.

My dog absolutely loves these!
I have two dogs (French Bulldogs) - one does not care for balls but the other is absolutely obsessed and as any dog parent of a ball-obsessed dog knows, you end up getting through a lot of balls. We mainly lose them in the park as 'ball dog' (BD) is not really a chewer of them.BD is still young at the time of writing this review (8 months) and Frenchie's are not a large breed generally although they have quite wide mouths so these 'medium' standard-size balls are perfect. I would not want to buy the smaller size balls on the market through few of choking. I usually use them in the park with a ball launcher (you should see BD run, he looks like a potato on legs!)Of course, regularly losing balls in the park, it is tempting just to buy a normal tennis balls in bulk which IS cheaper. However the bright colours make these balls easy to spot in the grass and BD loves the main reason I went for these over normal tennis ball - the squeaker! He loves bringing them back to me, squishing them in his mouth for the noise. Very happy dog.I would say they are good quality too, they have so far put up with BD chomping down on them in his maw to make the noise and the 'fuzz' has lasted and not ended up coming off in his mouth either.Would definitely buy again over normal tennis balls - however, thanks to the bright colours and sturdiness, we haven't lost or destroyed one yet.

Last longer than yellow kong balls
Although the squeak didn't last long. The ball itself is still intact compared to the yellow ones
