easy to apply and lasts a month
My mom has been using this shampoo for about 6 months now and it has been very useful because it doesn't damage her hair. It's a natural dye that covers her gray hair very well. Her hair lasts a month completely black, and if you bathe, the dye doesn't come out, and it doesn't take as much time or work to touch it up as it would at a hair salon.

Great dye shampoo. Worth every penny.
Buy it! First time using a dye shampoo. First application, kept it for 20 mins. Not bad at all. Easy to apply and wash. Worth the money.

Great value and excellent results.
This is the only option I use for my beard. It does a great job of covering my grey for a significantly less expensive option than any of the subscription or store bought dyes. Furthermore, it doesn’t stain my skin and give away the fact that my beard is dyed.

It worked!? Holy cow, it did work!
My hair is black, but I've been coloring since I was 10 because I was going premature gray. Correction, my mother colored my hair and I began as a teen. I 'm 40 now so I've colored my hair probably 300 times. About once every three months probably. I'm sure that figure isn't exact, but it's close. Last year I noticed I had orange in my hair after only a couple washes. White, "empty" hair can turn green or orange when dyed black. The dye was falling out of my gray, now probably white hair. I have streaks which is gonna be pretty cool when I do stop coloring. I kinda liked the peek-a-boo effect, but not the orange, so I decided to try and dye the front of my hair, where the streaks were, red. I refused to use bleach so the best I ever got was a dark burgundy, even with Splat. Again, it starts falling out and I'd done it like 3 or 4 times since last October. I was dealing with pale red and white threads. Cut to now and my bangs and temples are dry and brittle. I was done. I needed to cover grays and go back to black, but I didn't want to damage it further. I asked a hair dresser friend about plant based dye shampoos and she said it would be gentler on my hair if it worked. I tried a patch test last night to make sure it wouldn't react with my skin and would cover the gray. It did nothing and I left it for an hour or more. I decided since today was a wash day anyway, I'd try it. I left it in for an hour and a half, maybe two. My scalp never burned or really even itched. Not like with drug store box dyes where you wanna keep a pair of chopsticks handy to scratch your head or you'll go mad. Completely ignoring the instructions, I rinsed it out, scrubbed in some of my also plant based bar conditioner and left that for 30 mins or so. Guess who's hair is now black again? I was super surprised. It's a warm black and I prefer a cool, but I wear toppers anyway. Yeah they cover grays, but I style them so my hair and it are curled together. So grays peek through. I'm just so honestly surprised it worked as well as it did. I have not washed it yet. I wash with rice water, but only once a week. If something drastic happens like the color falling out or staining my pillow, I'll update this review. My intentions are to only use it when I notice the grays becoming a little unruly. I hope I can use it that way. I was banking on rice water strengthening my hair and I don't wanna have to bake my head every wash day to keep it black. As for why the patch test didn't work: I'm pretty sure it's two bottles in one, you depress the pump and both products come out together. You mix them in your hands and apply. I think that first little pump wasn't enough of one or the other products to activate it. I wound up using a lot, working in sections, but all the hair dye videos on youtube say to SATURATE the hair, so I did. Especially in the front where the most work needed to be done. It didn't dye my skin nearly as dark as a box dye would have and it washed out easily.I'm so shocked it worked as well as it did. I expected to have to do it a couple times for the effect to "build up" I guess. Idk about all the reviews saying it's fake. It worked just fine for me.

comments and questions
I am still exploring, but so far, I am glad that the shampoo agrees to my skin, no reaction. I order 2 bottles, one black and one dark brown. I mingled them together, and got a nice natural black color. The dark brown isn't dark but light brown. I am just wondering, there is a added print on the bottle says, "dark brown", but I wonder if that's actually brown not dark brown?? I used the shampoo back to back in 2 days, because the first day when i used it, all the white roots were still there on the following day. So I decide to use dying hair method to brush this shampoo little by little to my root area. it takes longer, and by the time to wash off the shampoo, there isn't suds showing up any more, however, I got my white root covered. I did lost a lot of hair after drying, not sure if it is related to this shampoo. I suggest the vendor to make the small plastic neck cape an open cape not with elastic and close tight shut. When I removed the cape from my neck after apply the shampoo, all the hair dye got on the cape, and spilled over my floor and walls. If it's a open style with velcrow snap on and off will be more appropriate. Also, is it okay to wash with another shampoo right after using this shampoo? I feel it's safer for my skull health. Although the idea of this shampoo created convenience for those who use hair dye. after all, I can imagine that there still will have hair dye residue left on my skull and hair. We might not find problem within short time after using this shampoo, but will there be a long term effect, if we leave the dye on the skull without wash them clean. I will feel more comfortable if I give another shampoo wash right after. Anyone has any suggestion and comment about it?One more thing, can we put hair conditioner on after apply this shampoo?

It works!
So surprised, it actually works. It didn't leave my hair dry and the coverage was spot on.It's only been a few days so I'll date again on how long it lasts. I don't shampoo my hair but once every 2 weeks because I've started my loc journey and I have very soft hair so it's taking a little more time for me to loc so fingers crossed.
