Brilliant tool and has allowed me to install cabling with ease and quickly. Never had any issues with it.

My first choice for all staple guns are made by rapid great build quality and reliable this model is the cable tacker and has three impact settings to control depth of staple and is perfect for extra low voltage cables ( cat 5/6 cables ) fires non insulated staple available in leg lengths up to 12mm

Good product but returned as ultimately wasn’t suitable for our needs. Pay attention to the cable sizes, there’s a lot of very similar staplers for different sized cables whereas we misread the length of the stable as being different *diameters* - would be fine for securing a cat5 cable but we needed something a little thicker.

Because of thick walls and the need for gigabit speeds, I've done a bit of my own cabling. This is the right tool for Cat5/ Cat6 cabling, stapling it to the wall without distorting the twisted pairs. It's very easy to use and can get into some tiny spaces. The curve on the mouthpiece means that you can staple cabling safely even in a tight spot where you can't actually see to position it, and i've run two cables next to each other and the positioning of the staples means that i was confident i wasn't going to pierce the first cable when i put in the second staple.

I used this stapler to affix a CAT 6 cable to the skirting board through my flat. I wasn't really sure a stapler would be up to the board of penetrating a skirting board but was pleasantly surprised by just how ridiculously easy it was. To the point I had to be extremely careful to avoid piercing the cable as the staple goes in with enough force to be fully clamped down on the cable. I did actually go through the cable with it once but got lucky the cable still worked. I went for white staples and its a very neat install. You hardly notice its there.

They say "you get what you pay for" and this staple gun is testament to that. It is not cheap for a purpose built cable tacker, but it is built like a tank. I rekon you could drop this down a flight of stairs and it would still work. Lovely tool. Built in Sweden, just like a Volvo

Would highly recommend for long fibre runs

No need to apply a lot of pressure when holding the cable tracker in place so just let it do the work for quality results.
