Gamblin Artist Oil 37Ml Warm White

Nice change from pure white . Like the warmth of it

I like that this off white color is not quite white but white enough. It’s great for say, highlights and then, once dry white can be added on top adding just the right kind of brilliance depending on what you're pushing for. I used to hue down my white with a touch of blue or paynes gray before my final titanium white top layer (working dark to light) but with this i can go in straight from the tube over just about any color. It flows nicely or add linseed oil to increase flow. A little goes a long way and it tends to dry slightly less “saturated” than the initial application.

Ordered this not actually realising it was coming from the US!! Arrived before I was expecting it. Customs into Italy was just over €3, and communication with the store was brilliant. The product itself is a beautiful, buttery white and works great for portraits!!! Thank you!!👍

I find Gamblin oil paints a good answer between price and quality. If you want the best, probably Vasari, at two or three times the price. And I don't care for Windsor & Newton. For me, Gamblin is the Goldilocks solution. Give it a try.
