I've had my HOLMES 12" Table Fan with 75° Oscillation, 3 Speeds and 15° Adjustable Head Tilt since April and it has worked flawlessly!! It's important to note that I use different fans all hours of the day, every day!This Holmes is my best fan, and I use it in my room at home where I spend most of my time.It's very powerful at the highest of the three available speeds and still provides cooling on the lowest speed.The cord length is fine. As for portability, this fan is pretty big – it’s definitely not a desk fan -- which was a pleasant surprise for me. Even with its size, it's easy to move around. It's also quite durable. Mine has fallen over more than a few times, while it was running, and I was able to pick it right up and correct the placement without any problems.I'm so glad I didn't go by some of the negative reviews and went almost solely by a small, blue plastic Holmes fan I had for many years that I used every night in the bedroom while sleeping. I've experienced nothing but the best from Holmes fans!!One slight negative was that my fan arrived missing a small screw that helps to keep the cover and back in place. Fortunately, the clips work perfectly to keep those blade covers securely in place. I didn't take off a star for the missing screw, but it should have been included with what I received.

It's a great little fan. It's a little bigger than I want it but that's on me. Seems to be a decent quality. Has a metal or aluminum type cage the rest is plastic. It's pretty quiet. It's not too heavy but heavy enough to keep itself in place while on high without bouncing around. It cools down my bathroom or bedroom whichever I'm using it in, nicely. It's very strong, but keeps me comfortable. The price was very nice. I really didn't expect this quality of fan for such a cheap price, although I did purchase it during Amazon Deal Days.

This is a good fan perfect size for small spaces. I can’t remember if it was suppose to have a remote control, but if it was it didn’t come with one. The only issue we have and the reason for the 4 star rating is the weird ticking sound it makes when it’s not Oscillating. As long as you have it on oscillating it doesn’t make the sound. Very odd.

The fan was super-easy to assemble, and the packaging is really compact. It is easy to clean the blades and cage, and it runs pretty quit and moves a lot of air.

Well priced fan and definitely hold up to lots of use. It isn't too loud and it is very cooling. Not large but perfect for bedroom or dorm living. To increase longevity of fan and improve performance make sure to take apart and clean

Great little fan and does the job! I can definitely hear but it’s not too loud. My kitchen heats up quickly, so I plan to use this year round.

Had gotten a smaller sized fan and it was too weak to do what I needed it to do. This is a great tabletop fan. Powerful enough to bow and circulate the air in a small bedroom. A little clunky so if you are trying to have a petite cute fan on your nightstand, this isn't it. 3 speeds, and great range of motion. I needed it quickly and the delivery was worth it for same day. Only problem is the size but great price for the fan.
