I received a new iPhone from my employer and was afraid I would break it. I also worried that the cases I had used in the past (the wallet cases) were too bulky for this new job. I was happy to try this case out. I bought this back in early January and as of this review (early March) all is well! The phone has been dropped numerous times and has yet to break. The door on the back is enticing when you want to fidget, I often open and close it quickly before catching myself. But so far it has not shown signs of wear. I usually carry my license and my debit card in there, and they snap into place so that they are secure even if the phone back is up and the phone is turned upside down. I have put a third card in there for very short periods and it does work, but the third card doesn’t snap in securely and I don’t like to do that for fear of causing too much wear on the case.I only gave it four stars because, when I first got the case, I thought I wouldn’t be able to use it! Every time I talked on the phone, the hand holding it would somehow push the door open exposing my cards. This was before I realized how secure they were in there so I was afraid they would become lost. However, I quickly grew used to this (within a couple days) and now hold the phone in such a way that the door doesn’t open. I didn’t really consciously do this, it just happened naturally. I am very glad that I stuck it out because now I love the case!

I had this case for my iPhone 6s and really liked it and had it for about a year. It was very sturdy and saved my phone from many falls. It had a few scratches, but really enjoyed it. I got a new iPhone X and decided to get this case for it and am hoping it is just as good! I just received it in the mail & it feels much different than the one I had for my 6s.. the buttons are WAY easier to press on the X case, unlike the 6s buttons which were sooo hard to press. I wish this case had more of a lip around the phone like the 6S one... so it could protect the phone more since this phone is easier to break than the older iPhones. The only cons I have are that the slider is kind of wobbly so I fear it might fall off, but it’s not wobbly enough to replace it. It’s just my own paranoia. The case is very hard to get off and I fear I’ll break my brand new phone! Also, the sides of the part that slides are very annoying. They are sharp and scratch my hands and it’s rewlly annoying. The other case I had for my 6s wasn’t like this one at all. But, it currently fits my credit card and ID which is all I need to carry when I go out.. hopefully this case is just as great!

I love this case its so slim and can hold my drivers license and 1 card. I also love that its so thin no one can tell my cards are in there. I have had to buy one in just over a year because the plastic track cracks but I don't mind because I think the price is very reasonable. I have recommended this to many friends.

I had this case for my iPhone 6s and loved it!! It was thinner than most credit card cases, very discreet and very sturdy. I’m glad they went with the gray rubber for the iPhone X version, as the “clear” rubber on my last one was dirtied very quickly. I am disappointed with the slider on the new case, though. It shifts back and forth when closed, and does not become flush when it is fully closed. It’s just an annoyance, really, but after having a great product the first time around, I expected the same this time. This version is also more difficult to slide open. Not difficult overall, just more difficult than the iPhone 6s version.I do love the color options with this version!

I love this case but now the back won’t stay on. One of these days it will fall off so I’m ordering a second one. I purchased this five months ago so for $20 5 months isn’t bad. Also, I keep three cards in the slot so maybe that’s why the back doesn’t stay on anymore. Next time I will just put two cards in there and see if it holds up better.

I love this product. I have a reputation of being rough with my stuff and this case has proven itself time and again. Overtime it has shown some visible wear of scratch marks but with the rose gold, it’s only noticeable if you’re looking for it. My phone was near the sink and there was some water damage to the appearance to the case from some slight contact which is why I decided to purchase another case. I love that it can actually hold three cards (credit, debit and drivers license) while being discreet. No one realizes it’s a wallet until I slide it open.

This is the third case by design skin that I purchase in the last few years. I’ve tried others, but they’re not as sturdy. I’ve bought it multiple times because I have a bad habit of spinning my phone on surfaces and the backing fades. The card holder is easy to slide but not too easy that the 3 cards fly out. I wish there were more colors, but I’ll keep buying this one until I find another case that is as sturdy and slides in the same direction as this one does.

Best phone case ever! When I had my iPhone 6s, this case went through hell and back. I don’t like carrying purses and I usually forget things so this phone case is great for holding essentials (drivers license, debit card). Because of this it encouraged me to order the same case but for my iPhone X. It works great. I drop my phone all the time and I don’t have a scratch or crack on my actual phone. The paint definitely washes off, but it doesn’t matter because my phone is in perfect condition.
