CLAM9877 4567-0788 Pro-Series Hitch Heavy, Multi, One Size

I love this tow bar. It works great. Easy to remove for storage and travel. Stays put while towing.It is not perfect for the Kenai. The spacing of the bolts won’t work with the size and spacing of the ribs on the sled. I drilled 2 new holes on each bracket and it works fine.

It works great and is built very well. Very happy with the purchase.

2019 Bought for Nanook, Does not fit perfectly. I think they must have changed sled design. Some modification where required to get it to fit well. Specifically the bolting positions did not line up well at all (half over a rib, half not touching anything) I refer to “rib” being the bottom moulded runner that runs full length of sled. The old sled mould had less and wider ribs. Otherwise this worked and attached well to my snowmobile.

Like: The strength of it and how it handled towing a heavy Clam Yukon shanty in slushy ice conditions. Dislike: When pulling ice shanty by hand, the handle, I wig it had a different angle on it. I think this may make it easier to pull by hand but, it also may get in the way when towing shanty with snowmobile! Over all, the way this tow bar is designed is really nice from the disconnecting feature on both ends and the ability to change the length of the tow bar. As of right now, think Clam did a nice job on this product. Been out over 1/2 doz times in some adverse ice conditions and it performed well!

Works great on my Clam ice shack. This is the factory one from Clam and came in the original packaging from Clam.
