Is the RAM expandable to 8gb or even 16gb?

It has 16gbs of ram and can go up to 32gbs

I see it has an hdmi port, but does it have a display port? i like to run my laptops with 2 external monitors. can this be done?

No Display Port but, there is a Thunderbolt port where you can easily attach a docking with 2 monitors, or use a Thunderbolt-to-DP converter and attach the second monitor there

Would it support installing 2tb + 2tb ssds in a hardware-based raid 1 (mirroring)?

I have contacted Asus about this. They said the maximum storage is 2gb and because there are two PCIe slots it can have two SSD 2gb each so a today of 4gb total.
