ERA 343-61 3-inch 76mm Bathroom Sashlock with Chrome Effect

I bought this lock to add a thumb turn lock to our bathroom door to replace a simple bolt. Fitting was fairly straightforward, but after a few days, I found myself locked in the bathroom - the door handle turned but the latch didn't. Amazon as always processed the return quickly and easily and sent me a replacement free of charge. Unfortunately again after a few days, the same thing happened again. I now need to replace the door after having to be broken out of the bathroom twice. I'll be buying a lock mechanism from someone other than ERA for that door.

Finally got round to installing this after purchasing a few months back. Does exactly what it's supposed to, the instructions are clear and it's now working fine. Very pleased for the price.One thing to note, check the size of you door handle and lock handle as mine were very tight to fit both to the door once I had installed the sash lock.

Exact size of the old ones being replaced. Good colour as wanted.

Very good quality item. Works very well and is easy to install.

Easy to fit. Does what it says on the tin.

Arrived in terrible condition. Doubt it will last. The instruction book was wet! No sign of water in the plastic bag but looks like it has been stored in a damp place as the screws on the casing have rusted.
