GoorOxford Tie Shoes ManMade Upper

I cannot recommend these shoes enough for a formal event. For £34 I did not expect much from these shoes. I can quite honestly say these look and feel like an £80 pair of dress shoes and I am very picky. The quality of finish is absolutely brilliant and it appears to be a well made and sturdy shoe. The patent leather is flawless. They are very comfy out of the box and look great on, so will not need broken in. They fit true to size and have plenty width across the toe of you have wide feet like me. If you have quite narrow feet then I would suggest maybe going down a size. The majority of the reviews I read saying about an awful smell. Mine are acutally okay. They just smell like new shoes or if you open a new can of tennis balls which I quite like, but straight out of the box you can only smell them if you put your nose right up to them. If you have them on you can't smell them. Please don't let the bad smell in the reviews put you off from buying these. You are not going to get a better quality of shoe for this price or even if you spent £80. Hopefully they last as I really like them, but if they don't then it's still money well spend to get a few wears out of them.

Just so comfortable and incredible value

Only used them for one evening for a Black Tie event..Put in-soles in them to enhanced the comfort.. Only worn in doors and by the end of the evening the outsoles looked new..Recommended for low-impact use

I bought these for a one time wear so the price and look is great. However the smell which is mentioned by other reviewers is very strong, even after 4 days out of the box. I have spoken to the seller, who was very nice about it and he said that whilst the smell will reduce over time it will not go away completely.So, if like me this is a one time wear then OK, but not a product to keep in the wardrobe with the rest of your clothes! A pity that real patent leather shoes are many times the price.

For £29, great quality and value for the sake of wearing for a wedding for one day.

Very supple easy to wear pair of shoes, although I found the sizing slightly too tight but not uncomfortably so. I suppose they will stretch with use.The smell of creosote is quite overwhelming when you open the box, but after a couple of days left in the open in my garage, the smell subsided quite a bit. As I will only wear them 3 or 4 times a year at black tie events, I would highly recommend these shoes for the money.

Son is an entertainer, these are so comfy and look amazing, I always buy these for him if it’s a birthday treat or for Christmas,he normally gets them for himself.
