Works well with a variety of genuine and ‘compatible’ consumables including resealable bags, rolls and single use bags. Purchased product in 2022, used several times a week, no issues to date ... just a very useful addition to my kitchen...

Great product and easy to use with great results. Received incredibly quickly, great seller. Only thing that I found rather dishonourable, but nothing to do with Amazon, in the box of contents was an exclusive offer of 20 percent off coupon on your first purchase fir bags, rolls etc.. I emailed GoodSaver asking where I can redeem it. To my astonishment I was told FoodSaver are not prepared to honour it as they no longer sell on their website. If this is the case why are they enclosing this discount coupon with customers purchases of this product. Not a very honest thing to do.

Once I got my head around how much I could and could not fit in a bag while leaving enough space for the items inside the bag, I was comfortable and happy. Love that this is a local product

Brought this as it is mid range price liked tge look of it & reviews appeared favourable; even brought the containers to go with it; first time of using it worked perfectly we were impressed & were pleased with our purchase; however on the second time using it we could not get it to vacuum out the air & it would not seal for anything we even tried a cheap bag & it just didn’t touch it; went through all the trouble shooting tips; we checked we were asking to much of it by making the pack smaller (think 2 chicken breast) still made no difference, my opinion not fit for purpose. ☹️

Great sealer, it was recommended and I buy the bag/roll to go with it. It sucks out the air great, seals great, no good for wet vegetables, as continually sucking out liquid. Very happy with purchase

Bought 1 but returned it as not sucking air out well. After trying a few other brands cheaper brands which I was not impressed with, I bought an identical Foodsaver to the one bought beforehand and this one works perfectly. I am very happy with it as I can vaccum seal sugar and flour by leaving them in their original packaging. What I do not like is, that there is no instructions as to whether to put the vaccum sealing bag with the coarse side or the smooth side at the top. Also even to this day due to lack of clear instructions I do not know where exactly to put the baccum sealing bag inside the foodsaver machine. Through a few trials I tend to put the top of the bag just underneath the green horizontal bit in the foodsaver and overlapping it a little bit. I also put the coarse side of the bag at the top, the smooth side is underneath. Happier with this purchase than a few other ones I tried.

It is nice looking machine but, we find it awkward to use. For me, having to lift and then close the lid to place the bag when we need to vacuum, is a mayor design flaw. We have tried to get used to it by giving it a fair amount of usage time but, the more we use it, the more we actually hate it. It works but, we much prefer the discontinued V3825, which uses a slot system and we had at home until we bough this one. Regrettably, the V3825 now lives in our Spanish coast apartment. We missed my return window so we have to live with this one but, since our V3825 still works perfectly after some 15 years of service, we will switch them next time we go there. Why they have gone for this idiotic lid design, is beyond our comprehension.

I got this to replace my previous Foodsaver that died. Very pleased with this model, much cheaper, more compact for storage and, most importantly, seals close to the edge unlike the more expensive automatic model that wastes 1-2 inches of the bag at the top seal. Save your money and go for this, id does the same thing just better.
