Sterling Biographies®: Cleopatra: Egypt's Last and Greatest Queen Paperback – Illustrated, February 3, 2009

My 12-yer-old needed this book for a school project. It was perfect. Not too long or too short and right on target for her age. It was very informative and just what she needed.

For some reason, I thought this was going to read more like historical fiction. I wanted a story that my middle-school daughter could really get engaged in. It's probably a fine biography, but was not what I was looking for so I didn't look through much of it.

Trying to help a Grade 6 student find resources that she could read and understand was a challenge. This book really was just right for her.

Excellent brief history of Cleopatra's Reign. Brought out other things going on at the time realted. Definitely recommended unless you are looking for a long and detailed history of the period.

Excellent factual book, with all of the right details contained for an intelligent primary read. Gives the basics and a bit more.
