Immortal Iron Fist is best Iron Fist
I originally picked up this series as I enjoyed Fraction and Aja's work on Hawkeye and am a huge fan of Fraction's work anyway. This is superior to Hawkeye in every way, The story which begins in The Complete Collection vol.1 (you really do need to start there, you can't just pick up this collection without it) puts a whole new spin on the Iron Fist mythos,Brubaker, another fantastic writer, takes over here for a more involving volume than the previous one, Brubaker really engages the reader within the plot, he takes hold and doesn't let go.This Danny Rand is very different to the one currently occupying the Power Man & Iron Fist series, so don't expect the excitable, little brother Danny. The humour is very human and the art is beautifully put together.. The plot moves along at a satisfying pace and it is a huge credit to the portfolios of everyone involved.

Iron Fist still won't die
The second volume contains the rest of the Immortal Iron Fist series and it's sidestories and it's still a great comic. The volume is compiled just like the previous one. The volume contains the last two storyarcs of the comic, The Mortal Iron Fist and Escape From the 8th City as well as the Immortal Weapons miniseries and several other sidestories. Sadly David Aja stopped doing the art for the series at this point so pretty much every issue has a different artist so the style fluctuates between issues. The artwork is mostly fine though I wish Aja was with the series to the end. But overall if you liked the first volume you should definitely pick this up too.

Weaker than the first collection
This collection is much weaker than the first, most of the stories here are not connected and can get quite boring at times. A lot of different artist worked on them, so they look completely different. I think it can easily be skipped, unless you are dying to know how exactly the Immortal Weapons were born
