Got these for my husband who is always losing his pens and getting ink on clothing. They help with both problems. They are very well made and should hold up for a long time.

These are polyurethane imitation leather, of course, not the real thing. I knew that up front because "PU" is marked somewhere in the listing (and they were cheap). But it should be honest in the title. Other than that, they are sturdy and look fine too.

Absolutely got these as a joke for my boss (he has issues remembering to put the caps back on his pens- which equals blue ink all over his arm and shirt when he ultimately puts them back in his shirt pocket). Jokes on me- he uses these every day. not bulky, professional looking, durable. Holds three pens and a thin highlighter easily.

Well I think pocket protectors became very old fashioned. However some people still use them. I am one of them. I am a mailman. We wear uniforms and they have pockets on the chest. That’s where I keep my pens, sharpies and such. This is one of very few professions that still uses pens and writes daily. Pens leak at times and stain the shirt. Also pens don’t fall out of the pocket if they are in a pocket protector. I guess an average person will never think of that. We used to get pocket protectors from work or uniform companies. Not any more. Just white plastic ones that fall apart from every day use. My last one finally fell apart to the point of unusable so I looked on Amazon and found these ones. They are leather. I think a businessman could use them as a fashion statement. I also think they are very durable and will last a long time.
