The Brother Airflow 3000 is a beautiful solid serger.
Love love love the air threading and ease of threading the needle's! It’s bigger than my Brother Designio DZ1234 serger but they both work great. For the size of this Brother Airflow 3000 it is smoother and quieter than my smaller one. I am happy that I purchased this Brother Airflow 3000 serger and love using it. I repeat the Name and model because I have noticed some reviews do not state what the review is about and can easily be used on other reviews that have nothing to do with the product you are researching. I hope this helps someone especially with a product that is at this price point. It is a good solid machine that I feel confident will perform and run for many years as my other Brother sewing and embroidery machines do. I have had no problems with any of my Brother machines and I have had them since 2010. Seven machines in all and I used them all for various tasks and locations.

So far, so good...
Recently had another (more expensive) brand of air-threading serger fail immediately after warranty expired. ☹️ I use my serger nearly every day. Thus far, this Brother model is performing well: easy to thread; stable, consistent stitches; differential feed works well on knits, denim & a variety of other fabrics; easily accessible for cleaning & maintenance & relatively quiet operation.

Great machine!
Love this machine! I am so happy I bought it. The ease of threading makes it money well spent. I sold my other serger because I could no longer thread it because of arthritis and a bit of shaking. Make sure you watch a tutorial on threading, don't just "wing it"!

easily gets disabled
This machine stitches beautifully but the pipes to air thread get clogged and need to go to be repaired professionally. I've spent $500 on this; having it done twice. Manual instructions are limited. I don't reccomend this machine unless you are a machine mechanic.

Spent more time in the shop than serging
I have owned this serger almost one year and it has been in the repair shop more than it’s been in my sewing room. I love the air threading but that’s where my love stops. This machine has skipped stitches or uneven stitches on any type of fabric. I have followed all the trouble shooting advice on Brothers website and when that didn’t work I took it in for a cleaning and repair. I received it back and again broken, skipped or pulled stitches. Took it back in they checked it again and after sewing two seams the same problems occurring. Too late to return so tomorrow I will try the manufacturer but yup not happy at all.

Defective machine
Just took mine out of box... Watched a video on how to thread the machine. Great video! I'm having trouble getting it treaded only on one side Watched another great video and found my problem. So, when you line up the hand wheel and it clicks the two metal parts inside machine doesn't line up therefore the thread cannot go thru...Love videos...returning because its defective.... I'm a little disappointed. Hopefully the next one will work
