Alright, so when I saw this Dezitrek bag pop up, I was intrigued but also a little skeptical. A laundry *bag* that's also a *scrub board*? Sounded a bit like a gimmick, but I'm always looking for clever solutions, especially for travel or those "delicate" items I don't trust to the machine. Well, I gotta say, I'm pretty impressed! It's essentially a large, durable dry bag with a textured, flexible "washboard" surface built into the inside. The idea is simple: you toss in your clothes, some water, a bit of detergent, seal it up tightly, and then you just rub your clothes against that textured internal surface from the outside of the bag. I've used it a few times now. Once for some socks and underwear on a weekend camping trip – worked like a charm for getting the grime out. The second time was for a couple of silk blouses that usually get hand-washed in the sink. This was actually *way* easier and less messy than trying to scrub them by hand in a basin. The large size is great; it's big enough for a decent handful of smaller items or maybe 2-3 larger shirts, but still folds down surprisingly compact when you're done. It really does mimic the action of a traditional scrub board, but without the bulk or the splashing mess. The seal seems super secure, which is obviously important when you've got soapy water sloshing around. **Pros:** * **Surprisingly effective:** The internal scrub board genuinely helps get clothes clean. * **Portable:** Folds down small for travel, camping, or just tucking away. * **Less messy:** Contains the water and soap, no splashing all over your bathroom or campsite. * **Good for delicates:** A gentle alternative to machine washing. * **Durable:** Seems well-made and the material feels tough. **Things to keep in mind:** * It's still handwashing! It takes effort, and you'll still need to rinse the clothes thoroughly afterward (usually just in a clean bucket or sink). * Remember to open it up and let it air dry completely after use to prevent any mildew smells. Overall, if you do a lot of camping, travel often, live in a small apartment without laundry, or just have a lot of delicates you prefer to hand wash, this Dezitrek bag is a genuinely handy tool. This Dezitrek All in One Hand Wash bag and plunger is amazing! I got the large to use as an Off Grid washer when the electricity is out, to save money, and to be ecofriendly. I use the medium size for those reasons and to take with me when I travel so I can pack light by washing my clothes before bed each night. It only takes a few minutes to wash them, and my clothes come out really clean! The telescoping plunger saves my back from leaning over very far, but it is also compact enough to put in my carry on! I am truly amazed at this product! All I have to do for my laundry is: put my clothes in the bag, add water from my hotel bathtub, and add the detergent. (I use detergent sheets from amazon that are thin- like tissue paper. This has been a great, easy way to travel with detergent.) Then I plunge my clothes and watch the suds appear. After a few minutes, when I feel like enough time has passed for them to be clean (which depends on how many pieces of clothing I do at a time), I am all done washing. Then, I unscrew the cap, roll down the bag and squish the bag down to let the sudsy water out of the draining hole. (I do this in the bathtub at my hotel, so the water goes right down the drain.) I repeat filling the bag with rinse water (I also plunge a little more—to help get the suds out of my clothes faster) and then squishing the water out through the hole and —Voila —all clean! I love that it comes in a handy bag for travel. They really knew what they were doing when they made the telescoping plunger handle just the right size to fit into a carry on piece of luggage, but also tall enough to reduce bending over when washing. The only thing I had a hard time with was wringing enough water out of my clothes so they could be dry by morning. It is hard on my wrists to wring for a long time for my clothes to be efficiently dry enough. I hang them dry by the air conditioner/heater in the hotel room but it still takes days. When traveling from hotel to hotel, this can be challenging. However—I see they just came out with a wringer that saves your hands and wrists from wringing out the clothes. I am very excited about that! Here is a picture of me rinsing my clothes with the medium size in a hotel bathtub. So easy!

I made this purchase somewhat impulsively and almost returned it. We already have a portable electric washer and spin dryer but I wanted something incase we lost power/for traveling. I decided to keep it when I found a postcard in the package describing the origins of the product and why it was invented and how the family that produced it worked to design something so useful and portable. As a mother who travels and camps frequently saw value in having a portable washer that’s lightweight and portable. I kept it and now I use it for small loads of laundry when it’s raining and I don’t want to go outside to do laundry and have a little to do. I use this for my cloth menstrual pads, particularly dirty work clothes and small loads when I don’t have access to a regular washer. The PVC is of quality and the design is nice. I wish it came in different sizes but I think this is a good size for general use. I also sometimes have the kids help agitate their own clothes and they love helping and saying they washed their own clothes.

I had to get something to wash my cloth diapers. If anyone has cloth diapered you know there are many dirty diapers after two days. Our washing machine died just one month before we moved. I immediately starting looking for something to manually wash them since the small machines we super expensive and would take days to arrive. I went with this with the thought that I could use it later for camping. It arrived after I had 4 days of dirty diapers (I took two days looking for something). I didn’t use the bag since my husband told me it would probably break. I instead used a 5 gallon bucket to wash/soak and a plastic tote to rinse. It would take me hours to wash just 6-12 diapers. The plunger would get stuck to the bottom of the bucket and I would have hot water that I didn’t want to touch. It could get it unstuck but it was very frustrating. It would also unscrew a little, that might just be the way I was washing since I tried to keep it from getting stuck, but the handle never completely detached from the plunger. Last but not least the handle could extend making it longer for washing and shorter for storing. Unfortunately it would collapse while I was plunging the diapers. This was very frustrating and I ended up keeping it shorter and I found a way to tighten it. Maybe that is what I was always supposed to do. It didn’t come very a whole lot of instructions on how to use it.. But I had clean diapers! It takes a lot of work using the plunger but it did do the job and is easily stored in a small space so I am happy with it. I don’t regret buying it. I just think we will have a lot of dirty laundry after our camping trips haha

Arrived nicely packaged and easy to use. I have been washing items in the sink. This makes it so much easier. We can also use it when we go camping. But for the now, it's been a life saver.

The Junk Storage Bag seam came unsewed and ripped loose, and then it raveled into shreds. I can no longer cinch it down with the laundry bag and plunger when I am storing it, so the storage bag is no longer good. Cheap nylon! I paid quite a bit of money for this and expected a quality product -- both the wash bag and the storage bag. I would have given a 5 star Review, but the junk cheap material used for the storage bag makes this an unacceptable purchase for the price you charge. Raise your standards Dezitrek, or lower the price.

This is misleading. It makes it seem like the clothes wringer is included. IT IS NOT. Boo.

Purchase this for travel and water Aerobics. Also great for hotel and cruise ships. Sometimes you just want to hand wash, wring and hang items up. This will take care of everything quickly and easy. No more washing one item or locating a laundry room in hotels and cruise ships. Lightweight and fits in your suitcase.

We bought this for rinsing our cloth diapers while camping and it's perfect for that. Give a really good rinse when no bidet is available.

I bought this item because I am planning to drive across the country car camping. This worked very well for my laundry. Even without purchasing their wringer, the clothes dried in 1/2 a day. I will use it on days I plan to stay in one location for a day or two. Its vert sturdy and packs well

J'etait pas capable de dévisser le plunger alor j'ai pris des pince pour essayer de le d'évisser c'est extrêmement fragile je l'ai utiliser pendants 1 mois c'est tres long a laver le linge et ca n'enlève pas les taches d'huile ou de gras! Ca ne vaut rien!
