These sticky traps come with bait incorporated into the glue and it smells like Peanut butter; which attracts the rodents. You do not need to put any bait explicitly but putting a cookie or peanut butter is only going to increase your odds. I have also set them in the garage right next to the door to catch any bugs or intruders and to my dismay there were so many bugs of all sort stuck on there. Overall, these work like they are designed and will recommend to anyone as the price is so much cheaper than the big box stores for essentially the same thing.

These work as designed. I was able to catch 3 mice in 3 days. These sticky traps come with bait incorporated into the glue and it smells like Peanut butter; which attracts the rodents. These have worked amazing, all the traps have caught at least one mice and I have repurchased this product. I have no complaints but personally I should switch to a more ethical way of euthanizing the mice. So I'm going to go with a snap trap, kills them quicker instead of gluing them and letting them poop and pee on the trap which is a sanitary risk. But that's neither here or there.
