Oboz Sypes Low Leather B-Dry Hiking Shoe - Men's

I had the Sypes in the high top and it was my favorite shoe which I wore every day for work, walking, hiking. Got the low tops and like them just as much. Great shoes but everyone likes something different. I try on a lot of shoes and my feet just don’t like them, but these are just right for me. They have held up well under moderate use and they don’t hurt my feet (which many shoes do). They have good traction and they look good too.

The Oboz Sypes Low Leather B-Dry Hiking Shoe has become my favorite daily wear shoe. I prefer hiking shoes over tennis shoes or any other shoe for my everyday wear. For the last several years Oboz have been my favorite brand. I have owned several different Oboz styles and liked all of them, but this particular pair is by far my favorite. I even bought a second pair for when my current pair wears out. If I'm actually doing some heavy duty hiking, I would probably go with a little more heavy duty pair, but these would definitely get the job done and would be perfect for light hiking. I just prefer a little more rugged tread for the real thing. If I had one complaint, it would be that the laces could be a bit more rugged, but they look good and work just fine. If this brand fits your foot, you have to give these a shot. They are the most comfortable pair of hiking shoes I've ever owned and are plenty rugged for my daily walks and work around the yard, while still looking great when I'm out and about.

I ordered these as a travel and walking shoe that I can wear on planes and to jobsites. I needed something waterproof that looks a bit dressier than a workboot but still has scuff protection in the front. These fit well right out of the box. I saw the comments by others about the shoe rubbing on the top of the foot but I have not experienced that. The only negative comment I have is that the top edges on either side of the tongue are pretty wide apart, showing more of the tongue and lace than I am used to. It doesn't affect the shoe performance, it just looks different from what I am used to. I wear these with regular socks and they feel comfortable. I would buy them again.

Love these shoes! I’ve ordered 5 or 6 pair over 3 years. When you love something you want other family members or friends to have them too. It’s possible I’ve ordered 10 pairs thinking about it now. I know I have 4 just for me. I know I have 1 pair on a closet shelf I haven’t even looked at yet. I don’t have to look I know there well built, comfortable with very little if at all! break in period to form to your feet. Great everyday shoes that will last! I have nothing but good to say about them. No Brainer! Get A Pair If You Can. Great for hiking, work, anything you might be doing outside.

I really like the shoes. But I had to send them back because they left top of the shoe had a sharp crease that would not smooth out, not sure why that crease was there. I really wanted to keep those shoes but because that I have to send them back.

Oboz fit beautifully and last. They are my 6 year favorite. Now, I have several pairs. Never going back to the cheapo shoes.

This is my second pair. They are very comfortable and provide great support and fit true to size. After 1-1/2 years of use, the first pair has been relegated to daily bang around the yard shoes. I have been very happy with the waterproof quality.

They run narrow. One of the shoes inside stitching rubbed on the top of my foot. They are very stiff and need lots of time to break in.
