Amazing value and tons of fun
For the price and size of this boat I wasn't expecting much but I have to say that it's incredible and I'm can't wait to find someone who needs this as a gift.It's pretty fast but not so fast that you couldn't use it in a bath tub.There's no on/off switch for the boat. It's activated by getting wet which is pretty cool. Confused me at first when I was trying to find a switch.The absolute best part about it is the controller. It's not just an "on off" kind of controller. The sticks have levels to them. So pushing forward just a little is a different speed vs full forward. Same with the turning. There's a lot of little steps of resolution in each stick. It also has some sort of logic to it so that in different positions and different situations the turning will be softer or stronger. It's a lot of fun to learn how it applies this logic and when to use the sticks in certain ways to get the best turning.This is clearly a next generation RC boat. It has a lot more technology in it. It's like they took the guts of an RC drone and put them in a boat.The buttons on the controller select low or fast speed. Also low or fast turning speed. The turning speed button isn't so much useful for actually turning. It's more there so if the boat flips upside down, you can click into fast turning mode and one blip of the turning stick and it'll turn with so much torque that it'll flip itself back right side up. So if you were to use this in a pond, you wouldn't have to worry about it getting stuck in the middle upside down.It charges relatively quickly and the 12 minutes of battery life they cite is probably more like 15-20minutes. It's probably much less if you're going full speed the entire time but it's a lot more fun to play with the lower speeds and levels. of the controller.I would be shocked if there was an RC boat of a similar or lower price with as many features. If you're looking for a great toy for a kid or adult, this is perfect.

A lot of fun!
Fun little toy. Wish it didn't reverse when I push the controller stick left or right. Other than that, great toy and recommended for kids
