A designers error
when the chair is closed it does not have a safety mechanism that keeps it closed correctly, however it has a good one when the chair is assembled that allow it to close, the same or similar one is needed for when it closes to be transported on an airplane or by car. it was a designers error

Too heavy for older people
This electric wheelchair was advertised as light weight as easy to carry in a vehicle. The item was so heavy that my wife and I were not able to lift it into our SUV.
