Handy Pantry Organic Wheatgrass Seeds - For Wheat Grass, Cat Grass, Food Storage & More - Hard Red Wheat (1/2 Pound)

I purchased this to use as pet grass. This stuff grows really really fast! Sprouts in a day, ready in less than a week (sidenote: I keep on a heating pad and cover the pot to keep the moisture in to help germinate). I keep 2 pots on rotation for my cats and it's working great. I have a 3 cat household and about 100 houseplants that they like to snack on which results in them climbing over furniture and shelves to get to plants. I purchased this in hopes it would stop their cravings for finer plants. I just place a pot on the floor and they nibble when they are feeling peckish. The first pot went with the quickness but now they just graze (lol) on the grass when they need to. This was really a great purchase. The bag looks small but it doesn't take a lot of seeds to grow a decent amount.

Many of the seeds didn’t sprout eve after following the instructions. I wonder if they’re too old.

I received the product very quickly in the mail... a couple days after ordering it. I purchased it so my cats could chew on some vegetation on the porch. I first just planeted some of the seeds in the dirt and watered them daily. Only a couple blades grew. On the second try, I germinated the seeds (as suggested in the label's directions) by soaking the seeds overnight, and then planting them in the soil. The grass very quickly and very high. My cats love it!

So easy, grows so fast! My cats absolutely love it! I haven’t made any health shots yet but I’m sure they’ll be good. The seeds were the best quality I’ve ever bought before.

I have attempted to grow from the seeds twice both without a single sprout. I was really looking forward to the wheat grass but alas not one thing sprouted in both trials and I followed instruction to the T.

It arrived on time. That's exactly what i want, grows well and pretty fast, has fresh green leaves. I will buy it again for sure.
