it’s nice to have 20 separate colors of leather paint. Obviously you don’t only have to use it for leather. It’s a good acrylic paint and I’m finding all kinds of uses for it all the time. Sometimes I have to mix the colors, but it’s nice to have this package handy.

Great colors for repairing my vintage luxury bags & shoes

I had to recoat a ladies leather watch band that was in serviceable condition but from which the surface dye/coating had worn through in some areas. This was a 15 mm lug BelAir user interchangeable band in a "denim" blue color that appears to have been discontinued. Mixing the colors to get a shade acceptable to the user was easy, the paint smoothly applied, and the paint dried in a short time (hour or less). It is unclear what is the shelf life of the material (otherwise, I will use this again as the need arises) nor is the durability of the coating in service known. The user wanted a matte finish; thus, I used Angelus Matte Acrylic Finisher ASIN B00B5W4LX4 as the final coat as this should protect the ARTME paint. Note that I would have purchased a similar kit made by Angelus (a brand I know and use that has "always" worked) but the comparative cost and later delivery date compelled me to get this ARTME leather paint. The user did not want to wait a week or so. If the ARTME paint fails or gets unusable in the sealed bottles in which it comes, I will update this review provided Amazon still sells the product.

These paints were used in just doing touch ups so can’t say much about all over coverage. The psint mixed well and was smooth going on. It dried in an adequate amount of time. I mixed colors and that did well too. The one thing I would add, if you planning to paint a whole shoe, you might consider ordering the one base color and it’s sealant because these jars are small. However, if you are just painting designs that require more thsn one color, this kit is perfect. I had worn places on shoes that needed a refurd so I mixed my paint to blend with the color I needed and it worked great.

I tried other brands and I was surprised how well this one works and how fast it tries I'm truly impressed and had a lot of colors so easy to match and touch up shoes or handbags
