First and foremost, this is dual handed!! I'm left handed and I have given up trying to find tools that I can use so I was extatic when this came and all I had to do was switch the blad around! I didn't even look at the description to see if that was an option.Now, performance. This works wonderfully. It's sharp, cuts large loaf as well as bagels with ease. It's easy to wash and dry and fits a verity of hands, and grips. I have to say, it's quite handy to have especially since someone in the family gas taken up bread making.I have had not issues and really like this product. It's worth it's price for sure!

Good knife. Works well. However, after awhile it can be a little flimsy but still extremely sharp. I practically took my finger off cutting a piece of bread. Get a steal glove to use on hand holding bread to prevent cutting yourself like I did.

At first, I was leery of the bow shape, but when I attempted to slice a loaf of sourdough bread, this knife performed well. It easily cut through the substantials crust, but it didn’t tear apart the tender inside. I have very bad arthritis in my hands, but this knife gives me more leverage when I cut. The blade is surgery sharp, and it comes with a protective guard to slip on the blade when not in use.

This knife is awesome! Helps me evenly slice both my homemade sandwich loaf and my artisan style bread.
