Great for multiple ages
My 5 year old loves playing with this. I got the original spirograph for my 7 year old but he was more interested in this one too!

Great Spirograph pad for kids
Great Spirograph pad for kids, very easy to draw on it. Good value for the money.

Cool idea
I ordered two of these. One works great. The other has a not working lock switch which means it can be erased no matter what. But it doesn’t matter. These are great for the car and it’s a mess free way for my girls to learn how to use a Spirograph. I love that it stores inside itself and it is small.

Neat toy, smaller than I thought
My kids ages 4-8yrs have all enjoyed playing with this. It's easy to travel with, and seems sturdy. It's nice that all the pieces conveniently store inside of it. The display is smaller than I anticipated, but it doesn't effect the way it works. The size might be a good thing though because it's easier for the kids to handle.

Piece of junk and ripoff seller.
A complete dud. Is this dupoosed to light up? What are the batteries for?? Ordered for Christmas for my 5 year old. Return window closed 4 days later. Still not working. Piece of junk. Amazon isn't helping. Ban this seller.

Poorly Designed, but Fun if Modified
The distance between the gears and the pad is longer than the stylus tip, so the stylus doesn't engage properly with the stencils. I had to file back the material around the stylus tip for it to function properly. The gears also slip off the pad relatively easily, making it difficult for little kids to use when they don't have the best fine motor control. It would have been nice if there were a windowed door on top that could keep the gear edges from slipping out while in use. Obiously it can still be used as a drawing pad, and has the standard erase and lock functions. The Spirograph function is fun after fixing the stylus issue, with care not to apply too much pressure. The internal storage is nice and keeps all the gears and the stylus together in the pad. Overall I would buy it on sale if you're willing to fix the stylus issue, but I wouldn't pay full price.
