I have sensitive skin and it easily flares up red. I have tried many facial moisturizers for sensitive skin over the years and none of them delivered even moderately good results. This one is so far the best. Light weight, non-greasy, and very calming. A few minutes I put it on I could feel the skin cooling. Will buy again.

I have never heard of the Lovb Lovb line, but the oat kernel ingredient caught my eye. I'll let you read the page listing for all the ingredients. But in short, overall good stuff. I have a tendency to react to products, but figured there wouldn't be issues with the oat kernel. I thought the added scent may be more off an issue. Not a huge fan of the scent, but it didn't seem to linger very long. It went on easily, and absorbed quickly. No reactions. While it isn't really what I would consider a heavy moisturizer, I wouldn't consider it lightweight. Kind of in between the two. I'll use this mostly at night, since I do have a daytime, very lightweight moisturizer I usually use. But since I'm in NE Ohio and we are still in winter temps, on really cold days, this it the moderate weight moisturizer I prefer. The sale price when I ordered it was about $29, though the regular price was listed as $32. The jar is almost 2 oz, one of the larger sizes of higher end moisturizer that I've seen If you are willing to spend a bit more for a higher end product, you may want to consider the Lovb Lovg line.The only concern I really have is the fact this is oat based. While I do technically do not have celiac disease, I do react to gluten foods and rarely eat anything with gluten. I have not had issues with soaps, toothpastes, makeup, that may contain very small amounts of some type of gluten. I do know 2 young ladies that have celiac and would not be able to even use this product - there is nothing saying it is gluten free.. Something to consider if you have celiac or such a related health concern.

I was experiencing a flare-up of eczema on my face the first time I tried this cream. As soon as I applied it, the itching and burning sensation was calmed and soothed. Felt wonderful. In addition to helping with eczema, this is a fantastic daily cream. Its lightweight and absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy feel behind. A little goes a long way. Skin is softened and moisturized immediately and stays that way for a long time. I have terribly dry skin and especially during cold months must apply moisturizer more than once a day. I don't have to do that when i use this cream. Once in the morning and once before bed is all it takes. There is a bit of a light scent that I can't quite place...I want to say maybe 'earthy'/'grassy'? At any rate, its not long lasting at all. By the time the cream has absorbed, the scent is gone.I experience no adverse effects from this cream despite my skin being dry and very sensitive.This is a keeper. I just love it. Delivers results and not much is needed per use making the price reasonable.

this definitely leaves your skin feeling moisturized and soft although i am not a fan of the smell. it has a thicker consistency but absorbs into skin well

I chose to try this daily moisturizer because of the word "oat." I really was not sure about something described as "oat kernel-ferment cream," but knew I was going to be in a cold, dry area for several weeks and was willing to try anything that could help.This cream does what it says it will. It moisturizes gently. The cream goes on smoothly, and a thin coat is enough to rehydrate your skin without staying sticky or having any sort of strong fragrance (which was my concern with the word "ferment" in the name).When I am in below-freezing climates, I tend to go for baby products. This cream is one of the few products for adults that works without any undesired side effects.The glass jar and lid are a nice touch, as is the inner removable cap. I do wish this had come with a small spatula for sanitary reasons, since the container holds enough product that this should last about 2 months even with daily or twice-daily use.

This is definitely one of those products where a tiny dab will do. Very moisturizing, the first few applications I used a little too much. But it was wonderful to use after a clay mask when my face normally feels extra dry. (I have normal/dry skin)Texture is silky and creamy. There is a faint scent that reminds me that fermented oats is one if the ingredients. I don't mind it, it's mild and doesn't linger, but I could see someone not liking it.

I LOVE this moisturizer!! I originally ordered it, as I’m always interested in trying products using fermented ingredients. I wasn’t expecting that it would have amazing scent and texture as well. The scent is very light, very delicate… I’m not sure how to describe it, other than to say that it smells very fresh; it’s almost a green, plant-like smell. I Love this scent. It just gives a fresh bit of scent as I’m applying, but it’s not a lingering nor strong scent. The texture of the cream is light but very nourishing and hydrating. It’s an absolutely wonderful combination. It’s very light on the skin, not at all sticky, but it hydrates beautifully as well. I try a lot of moisturizers, and I think that this one is a definite favorite.
