You need to buy a hole lot of replacement blades. That's a good thing.
Well this little sucker, WORKS. Simple idea that works. You know those extremely small stranded insulated wires. The ones that are such a pain in the ass. You always take them in with out stripping, and get no money for. Yeah those. You'll be able to strip those too, with ease my friend. In just 1 day I stripped 27 pounds. Some 14 gauge, 10 gauge, a hole lot of 18 gauge. You will love this little thing.1 complaint only- These small, I mean tiny little blade that go on them. There no high quality blades. They dull out real fast. Then the wire starts sticking out and you end up needing a tenant shot from so much copper poking you fingers and I mean deep. That hurts. Can't get the little stubborn strands with gloves on. Anyway buy it you won't regret it.Small enough for your pocket and on the go stripping.

If you have arthritis or are only looking to strip tips of wiredo not buy!
This wire stripper is very effective at stripping small length of wire don't think you're going to strip rolls of wire. Unfortunately it's a cruel world and people can patent things that are good at stripping a few inches of wire and call it a wire stripper strip a few pounds as a scrapper 3 problems . 1 expensive blades and one-of-a-kind blades. And if you have any kind of arthritis and if you're stripping above 12 gauge wire it's very painful and does the job of a razor knife the witch I can 3 ft in the same amount of time that it takes me to strip 6in with the same razor. Just a few inches larger box cutter to name a few. Extremely poor engineering. There's a reason you got a patent one of a kind will never be another one like it.

Not sure what the solution here might be but will take a good bit of work at current copper prices to make ...
Worked but not as well as expected. Had to pull some wired through three or four times before the blade aligned and caught the insulation properly. Not sure what the solution here might be but will take a good bit of work at current copper prices to make up for the $39 price tag. And the automatic machines are truly price prohibitive. So if you have a lot of spare time on your hand and don't mind the extra work its ok.

Ease of use
It works !!! I don't care what something looks like, as long as it works, and this works very well for me. Yes, it's small, the blades are small, yes you have to compress it to make it work, BUT, it works, so who cares. I purchased two other brands before this and they are now scrap ferrous metal....useless. I'm a weekend scrapper. Most of the wire I get is small diameter. This thing cuts the insulation off quickly and neatly. In just a few days I've stripped about 10 lbs of number 2 copper wire sitting at home watching football.

product works perfectly
the product works exactly as i had hoped. most the wire i peel is automotive harness. this being said there are many different gauges of wire within a harness. changing sizes often is a bit annoying but not any fualt of the product. for use on automotive wire since its small gauge is still very time consuming and requires me to still straighten the wire along a edge or using a handle or something. however without the hazard of just using a razor i can feel for longer without my fingers hurting or without risk of cutting myself aswell as making the process a LOT cleaner. i can sit on my couch and watch TV while peeling without having little bits of plastic everywhere and without worrying ill dmg my leather couch.great tool for convenience

Copper wire stripper
I’ve been stripping wire for a good amount of time now. I usually use a standard box cutter and it works fast. This thing cuts but i wouldn’t call it a quick and easy job. It takes time and effort. If you’re looking to stop wire fast, not worth it.

Love It
Love it. Good price for good performance. I was not sure if this product would work but it does. Other reviews mentioned about the blade getting snagged up and coming off track. Yes, these things do happen sometimes but there are ways to prevent it. It was mentioned that the clear plastic coating on some wired comes off and jams the blade. The way around this is to not squeeze too hard and make a first pass just to clean off the clear plastic. Once the clear plastic is off strip the wire normally. Some wires build up a shaving in the opening for the blade. if you find one of these wires just stop half way through a long wire to clean the shavings away then continue. Some wires just do not fit the holes given and I had to use the hole closest to the wire I had. The blade usually went off track on these ill fitted wires and simply shaved the side of the wire rather then score it. One way to correct this, although it does not always do the trick, is to hold the wire in the center of your palm, to guide it as you pull the stripper.I made the mistake of buying the replacement blades on amazon for $7 and a week later I found the same blades in harbor freight for $1.50. That is some price difference.overall, I like this tool.
