To start, I just bought this truck so I don’t know how or where the tires had been used. It’s a 2021 2500 HD Sierra Duramax with 17,000 miles. I anticipated the cleaning process and gave myself plenty of time. It took me 5 cleanings per tire to get it so the foam was white and didn’t have brown or black in it. The amount of stuff that came off the first round was mind blowing. 😂 I wanted to make sure to follow their directions to a T so I was patient and scrubbed for literally hours. It took me 15 minutes per tire for the first couple cleanings because they were dirty. The next few rounds went faster. I would guess 7-10 minutes. They were definitely clean after 5 go arounds. I used my backpack blower on all 4 after the 5th round because I was going to do the coating. For the other 4 rounds they were dry by the time I got back around but I wanted to be sure. The first two coatings of the shine I used a paint brush to get into all the nooks (highly highly recommend this) and the next two (4 coats total) I just went around each wheel and made sure the major surfaces were good and coated. They came out looking very sharp. I will say after 6 hours they had better look great. Now, to see how long it lasts and if that was worth it.

5 ⭐️ for the Product. | 3-4 ⭐️ for the Prep. Recommendations & Tips: -Block out a good chunk of your day. Took about 5.5-6hrs (Including detailing the whole truck). -Brand New Tires scrubbed 3x (1) w/white wall cleaner for the lettering. -Keeping the tires and wheels soaked while scrubbing helps with preserving the cleaner and allowed for spraying the cleaner directly onto the tires. Didn’t effect the chrome wheels but did have a bucket of soap & water handy cleaning them in between scrubbing stages. -To save time use an Air Compressor for drying the wet tires before applying the dressing. -Take your time, apply the dressing in sections & use the air compressor to dry as you go. -Used the padded (not sponge) applicator to get a good base coat on the tires. -Used a small paint brush to get every nook and crevice. Also, helped w/preserving the dressing. -Applied around 2&1/2 coats to each tire - barely used a 1/4 of the bottle. Aside from the prep this is by far the best tire shine I’ve used so far - no sling/dry to the touch, water repellent, & pretty shiny - Very pleased/impressed with the results - Tires look great! Curious to see how long it lasts but read if you properly prep the tires the dressing will last longer. Definitely recommend this product.

It borderline OK it last twice as long as the 3 day spray. If I could find it for $5 I’d buy again. Yes I properly used the prep kit.

A good friend runs a detailing service and often cleans up my car. He asked what I had on the tires and I told him about Dura Dressing. He showed me the company's patent application and says probably a bad idea to use a stone sealer on my tires or trim. Three stars because it did look great for a few weeks and I am sure it will do well on my stone fire pit.
