The cover would not go in until I glued the two pieces together. See photo. Update, my msg to the seller: My unit has no hole in the lid. The cover comes off when I have it in my pocket. This hearly caused me injury. I do not accepet your $20 offer. This device has great potential for health of our patients. I need you to send a replacement and a postage-free return label for this defective unit. edut/update seller fixed the issue. this is a important device for our patient group. we discovered that kirklund bottled water has 21X the nitrates of our municipal tap water. that bottled water is 2X the legal limiti. also corporate suprmarket dimsum has 2x nitrates compared to a local chinese bakery. updated rating

I do not recommend. There was no response to the return from the company. Amazon returned the money. This device doesn't work as described , it shows absolutely everything the same number and it makes no sense to measure anything.
