Buy Review: Amazing value, nice & quiet. - Clipped one end on then thought it was going to be impossible to clip the other side, but you have to push gently down on the black plastic frame above the clip. It clipped on easy as pie! Seems nice & quiet. Hopefully it will keep the CPU cool enough as I don't intend to drive it hard. Review: Cheap and Cheerful but a damn site better than stock heatsink and fan - Well worth the money, this budget cooler made my boys gaming rig quieter and cooler than the stock heatsink and cooler, well worth the money and I would buy again. Comes with silver paste square on the heatsink which is mint!

Don't waste your money.
Worst cooler I have ever tried to install.... The plastic clips that hold it in place just push / bend down to clip over the socket frame but you have to push so hard on it to get the clips to clip over that there is a possibility of breaking the motherboard. Most AMD coolers have a lever that you push down to tension the cooler on to the socket frame but not this it just has to be pushed on until the clips latch over the socket frame. No denying that the PWM fan is good quality as ever from Arctic but the actual design for mounting it is abysmal + it only provides sufficient cooling for 70w CPU's max which means not many CPU's except for the low watt ones can be used with it and why would you bother when the standard AMD one is more than adequate. Overall, if you want to upgrade your AMD CPU cooler then look elsewhere.

Not bad if you're on a budget
Tends to have a slightly buzzy low hum when nearing its supposed RPM limit (2000rpm, it can spin faster unless Aida64 is lieing to me), otherwise its pretty good fit for my mATX motherboard and case, remains decently quiet at load too. Cooling performace is passable, should be sufficient if you have a low TDP processor or if its not overclocked.

4/5 Great cooler for the price. Would recommend as an upgrade to a stock cooler!
This CPU cooler from ARCTIC is great value for money! This product came in the time predicted, and is in perfect working order. It says that this cooler is "Super silent" and as expected it does make some noise, but very little compared to a stock cooler. The only down side to this silence is that the fan spins slower, meaning the CPU is not cooled as efficiently. However, this has been no issue for me, in the past month or so of using it. Even while under heavy CPU load. A great Cooler for the price. Would recommend!

Does What It Says On The Box Brilliantly
So far so good. It is working and yes it is a little fiddly and tight. I have only just this minute fitted it to my processor so have not really tested it properly. It took me a minute to install, I cannot go into too much detail, about how I installed it, as it just clipped in. Lots of people were saying how tight, it is to fit and how easy it is to break, blooming heck, they must have been treading on it for this to break. It is solid and so far is doing what I want it to do, keep my processor cool. I only bought this to see what everyone was piping on about and I'm pleased with it. The postman could not fit it in my letter box, so have just gone up to collect it, about half hour ago, from post office depot. (Continued review below) Have tested this cooler out, after cleaning my computer out before putting this fan in, all my on board fans had dust bunnies on them, so took them out and gave them a thorough cleaning and dumped a filter which was absolutely useless in preventing my computer from warming up, whilst playing GTA 5. Now that this cooler is in, it does not warm up at all, usually, when you run your hand over the top of your computer, you feel heat coming out, but with this cooler, it seems to be keeping it cooler. I found out that actually, the heat was not my processor at all, it was my graphic card warming up, so am using the graphic card fan whilst playing GTA 5. I took off the two side case fans, which were in my opinion a waste of time, as all they were doing was blowing hot air around. I have turned my back case fan around so it is acting as a reverse vacuum, blowing all the air out of the back and the one on the top of my case, blowing it out of the top. I highly recommend that everyone who gets this cooler or any other cooler, clean their computer out of the dreaded dust Bunnies, that linger and can cause over heating, by acting as an insulation and then and only then, will you notice any difference. Plus the electric bill will go down. A lot of the reviews on this cooler, have been very negative, but for me it is working brilliantly. So I highly recommend this cooler.

Best value CPU Cooler.
Installation was super easy. Very simple clip on design. Good value for the performance (efficiency and noise level ) Fitted in a Mini Itx case (cooler master Elite 120) Pre applied thermal paste I installed it on a FM+2 For the price you can't go wrong ! Best buy.

amazing for price
so i recently decided to build a cheap gaming pc just for fun when i looked at the price of this cpu fan i must admit i was fairly certain it would be trash well much to my surprise its actually very good i installed it on a amd athlon chip (which is known to run hot) it kept the cpu around 70-76 degrees under load it is however a little noisy and fitting it is tricky but all in all well worth it in my case

Installing this fan is very easy. I used this fan to replace the stock cooler on an AMD Phenom II X4 955 processor on my 5-year-old computer. My old fan was getting really buzzy, and sometimes wouldn't spin up, despite my attempts to remove any obstructions. This fan is much quieter, and was a perfect and inexpensive replacement! Be careful how you plug it into your motherboard though. This fan has a 4-pin plug, but is compatible with 3-pin plugs as well. Make sure you insert it firmly according to the notches on the plug! If you don't, you might get a CPU fan failure message when you turn your computer back on, even if the fan spins up. The fan also comes with thermal paste already applied, so there's no need to buy extra paste for this unless you think you need to.
