A good stand-in for the Bahco 38
Having had the Bahco 38 recommended as a really useful tool for removing nails & old staples etc from my old house during renovations, I was worried whether this would be any good. It is slightly more compact & may not hold up as well long term. However, for the time being it is serving its purpose really well & is very capable of pulling out 130 year old square brad nails out of old dense pine joists. Very happy with it & can highly recommend it since it is almost half the price of the Bahco here : https://www.amazon.co.uk/Bahco-38-Nail-Puller-450MM/dp/B0001IX8XC

Absolutely essential
This thing is a beast. Recently had to lift a room full of tongue and groove chipboard flooring which was secured with both screws and nails; with very little clearance, this tool grips on to the nails for dear life as with next to no effort you smoothly extract it as it if it's in butter. Couldn't have done the job without this.

I bought this for pulling nails from pallets and it works very well. It will nip nails that are weak / rusted / particularly well fixed into a knot / etc, but they all do so this is hardly an issue.

Excellent Tool
I bought this tool to remove some cedar cladding from my house. The base plates were nailed in with old six inch nails that were embedded. I needed to refit the cladding so did not want to damage it unduly. I could not have done it without this tool. A few taps with the hammer bar and the nail head is engaged by the pincer arm. For deeply embedded just repeat on each side of the nail then pull. It is like pulling a nail out of butter. On a standard nail it is even easier. It is solidly made and has a robust easy pivot action which is well made. I think this will last me a lifetime but just so useful. It is the lever side pincer that is used to tap beneath the nail, then just engage the lever and the other pincer jaw engages the nail to capture the head then out it comes...Excellent addition to my tool sets.

it seems well built, extension a bit floppy
well, its arrived, it seems well built, extension a bit floppy, I am waiting to use on my pallets, nails always a bit tedious. Expensive for what it is but thought I'd treat myself.

Good tool
Works well, added a rubber band to hold the jaws open which makes it easier to position over the nail head.
